Because its a different dimension. Sometimes if one loses a loved one, GOD will allow one to come back and lead them back to heaven.
One can "see" three dimensions in these vs.
Phl 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Exd 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

This was covered in a story of Lazerus I think, or something similiar. I don't remember it that well though. I remember a begger and a rich man both die and the begger goes to Abraham, and the rich man to Sheol (I think that's what it was called?). When Abraham asked of the poor man could just dip is finger in water and put is to his tongue, the rich man was told no. So the rich man asked if a message could be given to those that still walked the earth so they wouldn't come to where he was, he was told no. He was told no because they had the prophets, all of creation, and the book to tell them how to avoid being there. I would assume the same reasons apply in this case of the question as well.

If people from heaven could talk to people on earth, we wouldn't need faith to believe in Heaven. . .we would know for sure it is there.

Because no can afford the long distance charges, but maybe when Bill Gates makes it to heaven we will finally know what it's like before we get there.

I don't think BT have expanded their business to Heaven! Seriously though, it's because they are in a different 'realm'. But with the help of Almighty God, the deceased can communicate with the living through their dreams.

Hello, hello, can anyone here me? Earth is in heaven, this is it. Funny how so many profess the power of prayer, recite the Lords prayer over and over and yet don't know where they are. Thanks for the question. ~ : )

They can if God allows it and sometimes he does. It says in the bible though that we shouldnt because we might end up talking to an demonic spirit and be decieved.

God has set a gulf between heaven and earth that is only bridged by His son, Jesus Christ, and His ministering angels.
We must wait to talk with the saints in glory. I am looking forward to it!

cuz no one is in heaven right now they only see it but not in it they're waiting fot the jugdment day
