the greatest trick the devil ever pulled to me is having the whole world think that New Year is January 1. I think in Exodus it talks about the month of Abib being the first month of the year. when you look it up in the encyclopedia Abib means April. And i think this is where April fools come into play because people didn't know that April is the beginning of the New Year. Ya learn something new everyday. huh?

Islam, Mithraism, Astarte, Saturnalia etc
Counterfeit religions.
It makes a mockery of Yahshua's sacrifice.
Most of these have the foundations of the faith embedded in them. A miraculous birth by a virgin mother, the violent death of the savior, the resurrection of the same savior to the sun god.
Perhaps the biggest joke of all is how he has mainstream Christianity celebrating thee birth of the various sun gods which all happen on the same day by the way, Dec 25th, when the biblical evidence shows he was in no way born at that time.
Yep getting mainstream Christianity to accept pagan days that honor the Sun God or the Queen of heaven is maybe his second best trick. The first was to counterfeit the greatest story ever told in the first place.

Lies, lies, and more lies. He will tell you any lie you might be ready to believe. He will even mix his little lie in with the truth. Anything to drag you away from God.
Let's see....he has lied to great numbers of people, convincing them that Islam is the truth, even convincing them that God conspired with Jesus to pull a fast one on the people by making them think He had been crucified, when it was all just a show...and we see how much damage that has caused, from the time of Muhamed on through the crusades, to this day.
he has convinced great numbers of people that the Holy Spirit of God is the moving force behind the so-called "charismatic movement" within the Christian community, when it is really him, all the time...and we see that he has made the name Christian almost synonomous with "fool" in the eyes of the world...nice trick, that one.
why do so many people think that we must keep God and science separate, when God actually invented science in the first place...and where do so many people get the idea that there might be physical, measurable proof for a spiritual, immeasurable God? Appeal to their pride, get 'em to think that it is not "intellectual" to believe in a god. Get 'em in their ego, everyone has at least a measure of pride! Yep, it works every time!
Satan, the greatest liar of all time, and the father of lies. The old serpent's m/o has never changed, it has always been the lie, and his purpose has never changed....it has always been to destroy the people of God.
May God keep you from his clever but empty devices.

Seducing the woman; so that he might, if possible, seduce the elect lady with another false word of religious wisdom.
The result we see is Satan's Eden; a world covered with fig leaves; produced by the deceiver and received by mankind as a false covering for their nakedness before God.
The woman is a church. The fig leaves are all religions of the world. The first thing God did in Eden was tear off the false covering (religion) from the man and woman and cover them with bloody skins. Blood applied by God and celebrations applied by men are not the same power at work. He who hath an ear, let him hear.

For the one trick the devil ever pull was to convince people that he did not exist.
If there really were no Devil, accepting what the Bible says about him would not bring lasting benefits to a person. In many instances, however, persons who formerly dabbled in the occult or who belonged to groups practicing spiritism report that they were at that time greatly distressed because of hearing “voices” from unseen sources, being “possessed” by superhuman beings, etc. Genuine relief was gained when they learned what the Bible says about Satan and his demons, applied the Bible’s counsel to shun spiritistic practices, and sought Jehovah’s help in prayer.

The biggest trick the devil pulled was when he fooled himself into thinking that he could be God. His pride got the best of him. He was the most beautiful angel God created, but when he decided he was better than God, his creator, God kick him out of his Kingdom to be damned to Earth to trick and mislead God's creations, humans. His first victims was Eve and then Adam.

Definitely lying to Eve in the Garden of Eden and telling her that God was a liar for telling her and Adam that they would die if they ate from the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Bad, i.e. "you positively will not die."
By challenging God's soverignty and right to rule His own creation, Satan allowed sin and death to enter into this world and has continued to turn mankind away from their Creator.
From there he just kept going, like a kid in a candy store: He influenced the Jews to reject Jesus, introduced apostasy and false doctrines into the Christian congregations, removed God's name from the Bible and has even managed to convince people that God doesn't exist.
Why? Because Satan was jealous of God, and wanted worship for himself. So by blinding the minds and hearts of mankind, Satan has made himself into the god of this system of things.
But the appointed time is coming when the head bruising of Satan will take place and the issue of universal sovereignty will be settled once and for all :0)

Besides convincing the world that he doesn't exist? Sorry, good question, the greatest trick was putting himself into buisness by tempting Eve inthe garden of Eden, sorry if that doesn't anser your question fully, if you want a better explanation, email me, and I'll go more in depth.

Made spin offs of God's word. If you cloud the truth and make things similiar to it it's hard to tell the difference which is real and which is fake. It's to prevent more people from finding the truth and being saved. At least that's what my opinion is on his greatest trick.
