Human Sacrifice is evil, barbaric and well evil and disgusting and inhuman, and cruel. While you probably agree with everything I said on the line above you are not going to like this.Don't you believe that Jesus PBUH Sacrificed him-self to save you? Thus you let your Prophet or God in your case be sacrificed.... did he say plainly sacrifice me I want to die? NO>> he did not have a choice yet you believe that he sacrificed him self for your sins... Does that mean that human sacrifices clean other people's sins? after all even if we do go with Christianity and say that Jesus (PBUH) was god, spirit, and son in one (trinity) even then you could touch and he ate and every thing so he was a HUMAN in the END.he was Flesh and blood just like the rest of us.Please Shed some light. I don't mean any offense and I know some people are going to take it anyway so I want to apologize in advance.. "I am deeply sorry if I offended any one....

“The greatest crimes, the greatest “sin” of Mohammed in the eyes of Christian West is that he did not allow himself to be slaughtered, to be “crucified” by his enemies. He only defended himself, his family and his followers; and finally vanquished his enemies. Mohammed’s success is the Christians’ gall of disappointment… He did not believe in any vicarious sacrifices for the sins of others.” (Edward Gibbon, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.)

He freely gave His life so that we would know His deep abiding love for us. It was not a ritual thing. They thought they were crucifying a heretic. Proof again that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord.

You're right. It's stupid saying that Jesus was sacrificed to 'cleanse' humanity of it's sins, but this is 'the cover story' xian leaders have come up with over the years, rather than just stating the facts A. Jesus was human. B. He was punished alongside other criminals of the time for breaking the law. and C. He broke Roman laws and was punished by Roman law-enforcers. D. He was Jewish, as we most of his family and friends, including the guy who reported him to the Roman authorities.
Herein lies the falsehood of 'nobility of sacrifice'. Human sacrifice is not noble, yet it's celebrated multiple times daily across the world at every Catholic mass where people symbolically 'eat the flesh of Christ and drink his blood'. Sounds like vampirism, doesn't it?

Jesus gave of himself by choice.
Do you think if he did not want to he would have? No.
Jesus knew the extent of his sacrifice and what benefit it would have for all mankind, so he willingly gave that of himself!
He was flesh and blood, but perfect flesh and blood. He was in heaven before he came to earth, he was the Son of God for goodness sakes!
Only that one human sacrifice cleared human sins. It was only needed once!
Read all of Romans chapter 5. It will help you to gain a better understanding.
No offense taken.

Jesus was both fully God and fully human so its more like God sacrificing himself to save us than a human sacrifice. Jesus is God but he also separate from God. He came to earth as a human leaving his glory behind, but that doesnt make him any less God. Jesus did plan to die it wasn't a mistake, he could of easily escaped his death but he chose not to because he loves us so much.

Jesus was both God and man while on earth. Mary, the mother of God was conceived by the Holy Spirit...until you are given this revelation...you will not understand His substitutionary sacrifice for all will come to him.

Jesus did have a choice... the Bible says he could have called down legions of Angels from Heaven to save Him... but that is what makes Him so awesome... He loves us so much that he was WILLING to give His life for us the way He did. Amen!

Because of sin, we all deserve to go to hell. The Bible is clear that God can not tolerate sin. Sin and God can not exist together peacefully. Because of that, God demands death for sin. The Bible says that "the wages of sin is death". However, because God love us so much, by His grace, he sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for the penalty that sin demands, which is death. Why does Jesus' death satisfy this debt? Because Jesus was sinless when he died! No one else could ever claim this. Jesus was sinless because he was both God and man at the same time in one person. He was 100% human, and 100% God. No one else could claim that. Therefore, Jesus' death satisfied the penalty of sin so that all who believes in Jesus and accepts him as their Savior will be forgiven on account of Jesus' sacrificial death. That's why we need a personal relationship with Jesus so that we belong to him and therefore His righteousness covers us. Yes, Jesus came down and became flesh for our sake and died as the ultimate sacrifice for all who would believe in Him by faith. You need to accept Jesus into your heart. He will come into your heart and open your eyes to the truth if you will call on Him right now with your whole heart. If you want to know what I'm talking about, say the following prayer right now and mean it in your heart: "Jesus, come into my heart. I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. You died on the cross to wash away my sins. I accept you now as my Lord and Savior. Take control of my life. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen." If you say that simple prayer and mean it with your whole heart, then Jesus will surely come into your heart and you are reborned! Changes will come into your life.

I'm sorry but you are a bit confused. The bible clearly teaches that Jesus laid down His life for us, willingly, to pay the price for our sins.
If you choose not to believe that Jesus is the son of God who died on a cross, rose again, and is the only name under heaven by which anyone will be saved, that is certainly your choice.
But Christians do believe these things, because we read the bible and believe it is what it claims to be, given by inspiration of God.
