Are you stimulating urine/bowel movements? Kittens at that age cannot normally regulate their own waste. You need to rub their bellies with a warm wet rag after every meal to cause them to eliminate their wastes. Failure to eliminate waste can result in toxicity building up which could cause serious illness. Many people do not realize they need to do this and think that if food goes in, waste will come out. If you are doing this your kitten could have worms causing an intestinal blockage. Worms and a lot of other things are passed on through the mother. I suggest taking him to the vet right away! Even if its not worms or anything major, its always better to be safe than sorry.

Only one kitten? Where is the Mother Cat? The mother cat cleans the poop. you wouldn't be able to see it.I doubt that there is anything seriously wrong. But call your Vet if you have concerns.

How would you know this, as the mother cats takes care of the kitten at this early age. She cleans them and licks them and this stimulates them till they are able to go on their own.I am assuming that the mother cat is still taking care of the babie. If not, then you need to stimulate them so that they will have their BM,etc.

when it comes to an animal so young, you must take them to a veterinarian right away. good luck, a kitten this young can take a turn for the worst rather quickly.
