For believers and non-believers, I suggest that a moderated forum for debates, using threaded electronic conversations is best found at
http://www.theologyweb.com
http://www.theologyonline.com/
Be warned, however, one must show up to the TWeb or TOL gunfights with a cogent and intellectual automatic weapon, not the usual knives of platitudes and polemics we find in the Y!/A R&S Forum.
Finally, there is

(full disclosure: I moderate this one)

I'm sure there is one similar on Y/A but R&S seems to be the popular forum for the insanity.

Delphi has some forums that run the gauntlet, from religion to politics to entertainment to whatever. You can even start your own forum for free, and jazz it up for a very reasonable price.
It's funny you're asking this : just today, I was giving very serious consideration to starting one there, and inviting regulars here from all beliefs to join.

The only two I've seen that get crazier are the LGBT and the General fora, both because of the prevalence of trolls.

Wondir Religion and Philosophy is more...academic at times, but it gets clique-y because there are fewer regulars on there. I find it generally much more respectful, though.
