Yes - my doctor told me I have very fiber-cystic breasts, which are hard lumps that can come & go (or not), but are not cancer.
Its important to note where you have your cysts and carefully note in your monthly breast examination (best time is immediately after you menstrual period) if there are any sudden changes in size, shape, etc. Cysts can fluctuate in size depending on hormones, etc.
See your doctor regularly for check-ups and keep checking yourself! Early detection is key - in the event you do develop cancer.

Breast cancer, is a serious problem. It generally starts with a lump in one breast, however, lets remember that, lumps that come and go, are painful inmediately before or during the menstruation, and are grouped in several, normally are quite benign.
Other story is the solitary lump that is discovered during a self checking, and DOES NOT HURT.
If that is the case, and has been there for weeks or days, better get chacked by stages:
1.-X Rays (mastography low dose radiation technique)
2.- Estrogen and progestagen levels in blood.
3.- Biopsy with fine needle aspiration (by your doctor, using ultrasound no need of anesthesia) using a common syringe, and sending the fluid to pathology.
Tjose are the steps normally used to be absolutely sure what we are dealing with here.

Yes. Most breast lumps are benign, and are usually harmless cysts or inflamed milk ducts. But do get a mammogram just to be sure. If you're a young woman (under 30) a cancerous lump is very rare. If you're 40-50 or older, it could be suspect, but still not necessarily cancer. I repeat -- get a mammogram to ease your mind. If it does turn out to be malignant, catching it early increases your chances for a cure. Good luck and God bless!

truthfully, the prospect is incredibly slender. incredibly slender. in case you're incredibly worried, then i'd the two (a million) bypass to a gynecologist (at 15 it incredibly is a stable concept to get annual examine-united statesbesides), or (2) get a prescription for a mammogram, and function one executed. there's a cellular mammography van that comes around the area the place I stay (in Ohio). right here is a few concepts i stumbled on: "in case you have already all started your classes, then a lump interior the breast is often an trouble-free cyst. this could be a breast duct that has temporarily plugged up with fluid, and it will ascertain by utilising itself in 2 or 3 months. A cyst would be painful, in spite of the undeniable fact that it incredibly is innocuous. in some situations a breast lump would be a mass of stable fibrous tissue called a “fibroadenoma,” this is likewise benign (innocuous), in spite of the undeniable fact that it would desire to not bypass away by utilising itself. we sell which you have the breast lump checked by utilising your usual practitioner. reckoning on the size and sense of it, your usual practitioner would ascertain to visual show unit it over a pair of months to ascertain if it is going away. If it lasts extra that 3 months, then you certainly would want extra desirable assessment (alongside with an ultrasound attempt or an aspiration of the fluid.) in spite of everything, relax certain that maximum persons breast lumps in childrens are innocuous. Breast maximum cancers merely approximately in no way happens in childrens. "

Yes, fibroid tumors or cysts can sometimes be the cause of a lump. But these also need to be monitored or often biopsied to be sure that they are non-malignant.
Hope this answers some questions. If you have a nodule, lump or feel something that isn't normal than you should see your physician.

Yes, you can. But since you can't tell what is cancerous and what isn't from the outside, you have to get EVERY lump checked by the doctor right away.
Trust me.

Yes of course. You could have a cyst, a fibroid tumor, scar tissue, etc. But don't ignore it because it might not be cancer. It is best to have each lump check and biopsied. Wouldn't you like to know. Good health.

Ladies, here's what it comes down to. If in doubt, see your dr.
If non cancerous, all it costs is the price of an office visit.
If it is, you just gained a LOT of valuable time.
There's nothing I'd love more than to put the American Cancer Society out of business.

Yes! You should always be examined by a Dr. to be sure though, but there are cysts and fibroids. Both wil cause what appear to be lumps, but are very minor. I have fibroids in my breasts, mine in particular are caused by too much caffine. Not too serious! Try not to worry- but do have an exam and talk to your Dr. Good luck!

Yes, I have a lump in my breast...it is benign...thank goodness. I had a biospy. I don't know why they don't take the lump out completely, which brings up my own question.
