i cant seem to get a descent girlfriend that isnt after me for any other reason that i am a soft touch. i like to treat my girls and spoil them with gifts. but in the end they all end up doing the dirty on me. why?

your going after the wrong girls. Yes you like to spoil them but a good girlfriend wouldnt want you spend all your money on her she would want the relationship to be equal. Get to know the girl first if she is really special then buy her a gift but giving from the start is just asking to be used because whether they really like you or not some girls will just use you for the gifts.

Because no body is attracted to a boot licker (ask if you would be attracted to a girl who always followed you around and gave you worthless gifts?) didn't think so, Now get this in your head - Women WANT NEED a man, Backbone strength inteligence someone worthy to be with, not someone to lick thier boots. The best cure when trying to decide how to act around a woman is to select a role model, James bond is the easiest. So when ever you don't know what to do just say "what would James bond do?" he gets all the women they line up around the block for him take this advice and go you man....

Look man I'm becoming to understand that girls like a guy with a little bit of a edge to em'. Now I know you're trying to be yourself and that's important too! But you can't go and spend a whole bunch of money on these girls because if they find out that they can go on treatin you like **** and still get all the gifts that you give them then it'll never stop. You gotta put your foot down and be a man! Tell them what you expect out of them unstead of letting them pull you by the collar!

Your question should've been "Why are MY girlfriends such users?", because your question by far doesn't apply to every potential girlfriend on the planet.
Perhaps if you didn't give so much, they wouldn't come to expect so much...there's a line between sweet/nice and doormat...have you crossed it?
Sounds like you've just made some poor choices in dating...it happens to most of us...live and learn...save the gifts for the deserving and appreciative...it's not really all that special, if it's your typical m.o. anyway...

Being too nice don't know hoe old you are??!!
If you are young save your money they'll keep doing it !!
as you get older then they'll appreciate it in time !!
STOP being a soft touch you said it yourself!
There is nowt wrong with buying gifts but it should be give and take remember it the time of equality!!

oouch that was harsh... We are not all like that, unfortuneately you have had some very bad luck. You will find someone that will love you back just the same, there are plenty of us out there. Just be yourself, even forget about girls at the moment, focus on something else you can commit too, life is full of fun! x

No brother u probably are choose the wrong girls. One think i don't understand why some girls always go for money and the cars.. Believe me there are some wonderful girls in this world not for your money, car.. for who u are. try not to too nice to them.. maybe that is it.. some girls like bad boy.. not a good guy like yourself.

Don't generalize. I have a friend who loves guys to spend money on her, and I for one, do not like guys to spend a lot of money on me cause then I feel like they think I owe them. Only after I've been dating while will I allow it. I'm not old fashioned in any way, and I was taught by my mother to make sure I never NEED a man and can take care of myself.
But, maybe you are just finding the wrong kind of women?

The problem is probably you, both the sort of girls you are attracted to and your tendency to smother them.
You can't force a girl's attention with gifts. Be a guy. Do your own thing. Pay attention, but don't overwhelm her. Why are men so foolish about this?

Well try not spoiling them so much.
Sounds like you are trying to buy love - maybe you are trying to cover up what you perceive as a short coming in your personality or something.
When it comes down to it what's important is not how many gifts you can buy but how well you get along.
