no dangers here, where do you think or who do you think we are. we are not criminals or mentally insane mate.

cmon down - no dangers only in summer up north - where you have crocodiles, stingers, sharks, sand flies, mozzies, the yowie, drunken drivers, sunburn (cancer), marsh flies. besides that winter is great - be careful no matter where you go in the world, dont trust no body - keep your wits about you and you will be fine - besides we are friendly people and a mixed culture - what more could you ask - when your here try a XXXX GOLD - great beer!!! cheers

No more dangers here than anywhere else and a lot fewer than most places. Ausssies don't carry guns and most don't have them at home. We tend to regard people who like guns as somewhat odd and potential nutters. We drive on the left, seat belt wearing is compulsory and enforced and there is random breath testing for drink driving.

We don't tip unnecessarily. You don't tip taxi drivers or bar staff in pubs and clubs. You usually tip waiters if you get good service but not if you don't. Tips are unnecesary because people get paid a living wage - even with the new laws imposed by the current Government.
