I do not think Christians are crazy. Some people in every ethnic group are crazy but not all. There is scripture in the bible that supports protecting the Earth. Athiests, often realize there are reasons to protect the earth as well. So do many other spiritual people worldwide. : ) This question seeks to hear some of the good answers.

Well, according to evolutionists, the earth has been around for eons. It seems to have a remarkable ability to heal itself.
In fact, the promised "coming ice age" from the 70's didn't even materialize, because of the earth's miraculous healing properties.
And I don't do "Mother Earth." (Or grandmother, or great-grandmother, etc.)

The earth was here long before the humans were and the earth will be here long after the humans are gone. You are asking the wrong question. The question you should ask is how can we treat our environment so it will continue to support human life? The answer to that is that we should leave nature the way we found it.

Moving my office home so I don't have to drive. Using non disposable shopping bags. Make list as things come up so when you are out only one trip needed. Encourage our elected officials to explore and finance alternative energy. Remember that we are stewards of the earth and that makes us responsible. God didn't create the earth and nature for us to run over and destroy and He in trusted us with her.

Its every HUMAN for him/herself, u cant trust NO1 apart from ur familly. even then some have friction, only way to be is put yourself and never give in to anyone, never get too close with anyone, or they take advantage, one day a mate can be a mate, the next they can be ur ememy, (REMEMBER THAT) u have to be cunning & smart to get far in this world man, so be strong minded, and always keep distant no matter how, yes u can have a social life but DONT get too close, keep ya limits, people only want to know if u have Money and they got someting to gain, other then they they dont want to to, so always put urself first and trust urself & family, PEACE.

Mother Earth will kill us long before we kill her, trust me. After that, things will go on like nothing ever happened. We can only pray that the next "dominant species" has more sense than us.

Develop reliable fusion technology.
And recycling is something we can do in the meantime.

Recycle.
And I personally want to buy a hybrid. Can't afford one now, though. :-(
