My dad, who I loved more than anyone in my life, died in 1985 and I still miss him every day. Try to find a way to honor them so that you won't be sad. My heart goes out to you.

You must be thinking about them today to have asked this question. I have lost both my parents, my mother-in-love, and I was blessed with the opportunity of being with each one of them when they took their last breath on this planet. I also just recently learned that my twin sister (who is also my dearest friend in the entire world) has liver cancer.

It must have been very difficult for you to lose three precious family members as you did, as there was no possibility of experiencing closure or any time at all to prepare for their journey to end. I'm sure you miss them greatly, but I'll bet they are nearer to you than you could possibly know.

I hope you have a good day, and that your sorrow will end. Talk to them out loud, it helps. Surround your thoughts of them with joyful and happy memories. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Annie

I am so sorry!
I have lost many.
My grandmother who died of hepititis from a blood transfusion before the tested for it.
My fiance by a shoting.
My daughter who was still born.
A close friend hit by drunk driver...
and many more. But these are the ones I constantly think about and wonder why.

My grandfather, whom I loved so much... I was 15 when he died... I miss him terribly, as you must miss your family... The loss of the ones you love is felt very deeply, it seems that I now love my grandfather even more and that makes the grief deep too. but it also tells me, that this grief is so deep because I loved him just as much. I also lost my soulmate. That pain is still fresh. and by that pain, I remember how much and how deep I loved him too... and only very gradually will the pain lessen... the love will never go away... that is the difference between them. eventually we will remember the love, not the pain, but the pain tells us how deep and sincere the love was. I miss them both and I imagine you must miss your family very very much. Every good wish to you.

hey girl first off I'm very sorry for your loss... words can't even describe it. about seven years ago I lost my grandma to cancer, and that was very hard because we were so close... and though someone else I love hasn't died, I have lost her as a friend... it's almost more painful knowing she is alive and the reasons we're not friends than having her be gone altogether.

My cousin died 4 years ago due to stage 4 colon cancer. The doctors misdiagnosed him for quite sometime, and by the time they finally found out that it was cancer it was too late to save him.

what's a "custin"? if you mean cousin, than the question/statement makes sense....i've lost my great-grandmother (old age; 105 yrs. old), my grandmother (heart failure), a cousin (10+ yrs ago from a plane crash), a friend from a motorcycle accident a few years ago.
to be honest here, name some one who hasn't lost some one they loved?
