I don't know the others, but years ago a little girl fell from a 3 floors balcony, she was declared dead in the ambulance and so did the doctors at the hospital, the family of the little girl were on the waiting area praying for her and inside the ER the flat line started to blink and to registry signs that weren't there before since the girl was dead. Suddenly the girl started to breath and to cough, the doctors and the whole hospital personnel were surprised with this and not even today their haven't been able to explain how that happened. Last month this girl turned 15 years old, in here we celebrate sweet 15 instead sweet 16. Today that girl is a beautiful young lady with all grades A with a beautiful future ahead. That girl is my nice and if wasn't the hand of God who brought her, How can you explain that? I don't need any more proofs.

I came into my inability to believe that deities real while studying some descriptions of near-death experiences. It was interesting, that such descriptions from people who were not brought up in Western Culture were completely different than the descriptions from people who were.... on the surface. The project was an exercise in rhetoric and in studying the words people used and finding meaning in their experiences, it seemed that most people experienced very, very similar things, only in the context of their dominant religion or culture.
I came to the conclusion that deities and all the other supernatural entities are not actually real, but are metaphors for something our human minds can't comprehend - an attempt to define the undefinable.
Voila, I became a Taoist.
To further answer your question, I'll have to ask to you to define specifically what this 'God' is, describe its qualities and nature and behavior, and I'll tell you then what proof there is that it does not exist. Unless you can define your question better, you're not going to get any definite answers.

Well, I was raised informally as a Christian and formally became an Atheist due to my individuality and critical thinking. Of couse there is no proof for the existence of any God or Gods. I cant prove or disprove any negative(ie unicorns). The reasons why I dont believe in God(s)
1)Too many God(s) and cant possibly all be correct.
2)The idea of God is self-contradictory(omnipresent etc)
3)Like all superstitions, God is based on a negative fact.
4)Humans are the only species that have ideologies of God(s) and varies among all cultures.
5)Religions in general are selfcentric, dogmatic, and corrupt at times.
And so forth...................

There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can't prove that there aren't any, so shouldn't we be agnostic with respect to fairies?"
"Certainly I see the scientific view of the world as incompatible with religion, but that is not what is interesting about it. It is also incompatible with magic, but that also is not worth stressing. What is interesting about the scientific world view is that it is true, inspiring, remarkable and that it unites a whole lot of phenomena under a single heading."
"There are all sorts of things that would be comforting. I expect an injection of morphine would be comforting... But to say that something is comforting is not to say that it's true."
"We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."
"Most people, I believe, think that you need a God to explain the existence of the world, and especially the existence of life. They are wrong, but our education system is such that many people don't know it."

I was a born, born again, saved convicted and convinced Christian. I had even had visions of Jesus's crucifixion in which he looked me square in the eyes and mouthed the words, "I do it for you." I tested all of these visions by prayer and calling on Jesus's name.
As I studied neuroscience, however, and the Bible, I found myself unable to maintain faith.
The proof was most decisively demonstrated in my Cognitive Science class in my psychology course work (I dual majored in Computer Science and Psychology). The professor wrote an equation on the board and my jaw dropped. I told him to wait and hush, pulled out my Theory of Computation book, flipped a few pages, and held it up. "You mean this equation, only you use a 'v' where this uses a 't'?" My professor shrugged and said something along the lines of, "what of it?"
My answer shot every concept of theism, every single religion on the planet that holds a holy text or miracles, out of the water.
"You've just proven that free will does not exist."

Oxygen can be observed. It does not require vision to observe. Same with the wind.
No hypocracy involved.

There isn't proof either way. It is not up to christians to prove an atheist point of view wrong (this is in response to another answer to this question). To prove a negative or positive on the question of god's existence just can't be done.

You can't prove that something does not exist. I can tell you unicorns exist and you can't prove that they don't, just because you haven't seen one.
EDIT: I'm a Muslim. I believe fully in the One God, Allah. I was using the unicorn things just as an example. I believe in oxygen and the wind because they have been proven. But just because something hasn't been proven doesn't mean it's not there.

Can you prove that there in no such thing as a flying pink unicorn. The burden of proof is on those that claim he does exist.
**I believe in oxygen and wind because you can prove it, you still can't prove god. And, I can feel wind.

You cannot prove a double negative. What proof do you have that the universe wasn't created by a gigantic Flying Spaghetti Monster?

It is foolish to believe in something for which there is no evidence. "Other than the Bible and stuff" is not evidence.
I don't have to disprove gods any more than I have to disprove the tooth fairy; both are equally imaginary.
I was raised Lutheran and went to church & Sunday school, even went through confirmation (basically to avoid the trouble of my parents' scorn) but as far back as I can remember I never really believed any of it.
