He's 3 about 35lbs now, not sure if that matters, so just a little guy. Plan to use though for maybe 10 years. Looking for a "good" brand and wondering whats a typical price on a mattress and box spring. See them advertised all across the board. We'd like a full since we'd sit on it too to read books at night, and have plenty of space in the room.

when buying mattress i've had some experience with the good and the bad. what you should understand is that if you plan on keeping the mattres for a little while then i would get one lets from walmart they are about the cheepest.we bought cheaper ones hoping they would last for a couple of years and they only lasted for about i year before the spring started coming through and my son kept complaining about back problems. your children when they get into school need a good nights rest so you are probably gonna spend approx. 300.00 good luck
