The Devil tempted Jesus during the 40 days after Jesus was Baptized by John the Baptist. Satan was very cunning when he tempted Eve into eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and deceived Eve. She then gave unto Adam and Sin and Death entered the Earth. God then Cursed mankind and the Earth because of these sins.

ANYONE can be charming. Satan himself is viewed as a charming seductive spirit.
Look at all the cult leaders. Look at those who lead crazies to kill themselves and others. They could not do that if they were not charismatic in some way.
If an nasty, mean, crude person told you to steal/kill/whatever, you wouldn't do it.
Just listen to what they do. What they actually believe. Many people will start to claim one thing, then gradually you realize they are not what they claim.
I'd quote "by their fruits, you shall know them." Look at what they have done and go from there. Even then, you may be fooled for a while. When you hear things about them, ask them directly. They might even admit it. But remember that rumor-monging is not a good thing either. Difficult dilema.

define evil..... in my opinion there is no evil or good, just actions that different people take differently. Look at the crusades, it could be argued that christianity is evil for the slaughtering of thousands in the name of their god. But dont the christains consider other cultures evil for doing the exact same thing? Evil and good are all a matter of perception. As for the charm.... yes it could be said that with "evil" comes charm in reference to say the devil who has charmed millions... or so it goes. But take other individuals who many would call good and even saintly such as.... well let's go towards fiction since we referenced the devil. What about James Bond, can anyone argue that he is "evil"? No but damn was he a charmer..... so all in all i think yer cracked in the assumption that evil= charming

Some people whom seem like angels have, deceiving ways they conceal from their friends and even relatives, to gain power and riches. They care only for themselves, they begin their deception at very early ages.
There is no better example of this than the Hollywood set,and the baby boomers of the 1960's.Some of the most deceptive of are holding high ranking public offices in city, state, and federal government.
Those that are in public office's are highly motivated to destroy the religious values of this country.

You are absolutely right. I have met people on occasion that have left me with a very strange feeling. Almost as if God himself was saying watch out for this person.
For example, I was introduced to a associate Pastor at church and he came across as very charming. I shook his hand and boom it was very strange. A real evil feeling came over me and I told my mom I didn't like the dude. She was kind of offended. A few months later he tried to have the Pastor of our church removed by saying he has a mental disorder. Now let me say that the Pastor of our church is well known the world over and is blessed in his preaching.
This assistant Pastor was at our church for a few years and soon left to start his own church and took a sizable amount of parishioners with him.
Needless to say my weird feeling was right and my mom could not believe it .
Beware of wolves who come in sheep's clothing.

wolves in sheeps clothing. That's where decerment comes in handy. ever notice how many kids are molested at church programs. Satan has not problem infiltrating. when my kids bring a friend home and they start calling me "mom" right off the bat, I know to keep an eye on that one.

The bible says to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing and that the devil can appear as an angel of light, so it doesn't surprise me.

It's funny because I think the same thing.
Very rarely does a guy (or girl) have looks and a good personality [both]. It's usually one or the other.
