It is pretty simple, the Three-fold Law is the creed that many Wiccans and Pagans adopt as part of their belief system. It means that whatever we put forth, no matter what form, energy or action will be returned to us times three. Part of our creed which states, "do what you will, but harm none" is the action to which the Three-fold Law is the reaction. Say I give money to a favorite charity. By Three-fold Law I will get that goodness back times three. If I hurt some one or do something bad I'll have to deal with that problem after it is multiplied by three. This is a very strict belief and it helps our people focus on being the best that we can be!

As to why it is a Three-fold return, that might have a lot to do with the trinity within our belief of the Goddess having three phases, maiden, mother and crone.

I hope this explains it better for you.

you can't know everything.

if you're using the term "blessed be" then i would think that you are practising wicca or witchcraft or something. if this is the case then yes, you should know what the threefold law is. it basically means that whatever you do will come back at you 3 times as hard - good or bad. it's like karma.

Kinda like the concept of "karma"... whatever you do comes back to you threefold.
