Depends on the person.

Well, I am a theistic agnostic, which means (in my particular case) that I think that god may exist but I have no proof of it and I believe that it is unprovable. More personally, I believe that god is the reflection of a person which they see when they look inside themself, and this reflected self can be used to assist communication with other people. It is the undetectable linkage of these inner-selves to each other which I think (tentatively) to be god the noosphere.

This probably corresponds somewhat to an existing religion, but I have little interest in finding out, since to define a belief is to be limited to that belief.

Free thought and no god. That's it. Live by what you feel is needed to live life knowing that there's no one or nothing watching to see if you're going to be punished for brushing your teeth. I follow the rules of general morality; I don't randomly hit people, but I don't abstain from sex. I don't have to go to church because it's not a requirement.

Technically, I don't believe in anything "higher-power" related.

Theism: A belief that God exists
Atheism: Without a belief that God exists.

Atheism isn't a belief, it's a lack of belief.

Consequently, it's incorrect to imply atheists follow a something in particular. Atheists definitely don't believe in something, but what they do believe may vary.

There's no 'following atheism' since it's not a dogma or set of beliefs. It's simply the disbelief in god. Whatever else you want to believe in, go for it, but if you're an atheist, you don't believe in god.

Logic, reason, truth, science, facts based on empirical evidence. Evolution not creationism. Do unto others as you would be done to, help your community, be a good moral ethical human being and respect others opinions and beliefs (no matter how fantastic). Like an imaginary being that is angry and vengeful and we should fear "him", for example.

No "god" who is altruistic and loving would ever remain hidden then expect reasonable people to believe that he does exist without proof, then condemn them to hell for wanting to find out the truth.

They do not believe in anything. Well, unless you want to call living in the real world a belief. Enjoying life. Morals. Having a fulfilled life.

Atheists believe the same things others believe...the only thing that atheists definitely have in common with each other is our lack of believe in any deity...everything else is up for grabs...some are pro-choice...some are pro-life...some are democrats...some are republicans...atheists have no belief system per say...we have a lack of belief in any gods...

Atheism is one thing and one thing only:

non-belief in a deity/god.

That's it. That's all there is to it. Atheism, btw, is properly not capitalized unless it's the first word of a sentence; atheism is a common noun, not a proper noun.

I don't "follow" Atheism....I believe that there is no God, that the bible is a novel, and that everyone has the right to believe in whatever they want....
