Hi there,
No, Jesus was not made of bread. But, He Himself used that to start communion. The bread is symbolizing Jesus's body, and the wine His blood. 'As often as you eat it, do ths in rememberence of Me.'
He started this so that we may remember what He was about to go through. Remeber, when the first communion took place in the upper room. Jesus had not yet been arrested. He knew what laid ahead. When we take the bread and the wine, we are to remember Jesus's sacrifice for us. His body was beaten, battered, and bruised beyond anything we could ever imagine and His blood was poured out to cover our sins.
Amazing...!!!
Hope this helps!
God bless!!!!

Listen carefully, Scripture extends back to the Hebrews, Moses and the Passover. The unleaven bread, the flight from Egypt and Manna in the desert. Scripture in its entirety is the restoration of Man's relation with God.
Piecemeal information will leave you confused.

No Jesus has been here ALWAYS. He asked us to have communion in the remembrance of Him, so that we remember what He did for us on the cross. He is the Savior. The only Savior we have. : )
