They've never seen their "God"-like characters and have no proof of their existence, but still believe they exist, just like you.

L. Ron Hubbard claimed to be inspired by Scientology "gods" when he wrote down his Scientology manifesto, just like the writers of your Bible.

Scientologists believe they have to have faith in Scientology, just like Christians.

Many Scientology believers think that if they firmly believe and practice good Scientology they will be rewarded, just like many Christians do. And just look at Tom Cruise, he's done pretty well.

So how are Scientologists any different from you?

Isn't the only distinction simply that you believe you're right and they're wrong?

Actually, they believe the same thing about you, that they're right and you're wrong, so there's really no difference at all is there?

While I understand that you are trying o make a point with Christians I have to say that most of your comparisons of Scientology and Christianity are actually inaccurate. I'm not sure where you get your information from about Scientology but as a Scientologist myself my religion is nothing like what you have described.
1. It's not faith based. No belief in any God or gods is involved.
2. It is not messianic... we don't worship anyone .
3. We don't practice Scientology or apply it's principles for a "reward" or to be "rewarded" (by whom and with what ??? )
4. We do not think other religions are wrong. We respect all religions and a person's right to choose his religion.

So please don't use Scientology as a means to bash Christians., or any religion for that matter.
If you want to express your dislike for Christian religious intolerance on this forum have the courage to do it directly.
Seems like you have your own issues in this area anyway.
Intolerance is still intolerance whether it's coming from you or from a Christian and regardless of who it is aimed at.

It's simple, really.

MY religion is the sanest, most brilliant, and most intellectually-defensible faith system out there. YOUR religion, on the other hand, is a bunch of insane crap made up by charlatans for the intellectual oppression of very stupid, gullible people.

They may not admit it, but most religious people really feel this way deep down. One proof of it--and of their denial--is in how many thumbs-down this answer will get...

Its definitely a matter of perspective and more importantly numbers. Scientology has less followers so of course they would appear to be more insane. Its the herd mentality.

You are very correct.

Christians will try and point out that their Jesus figure rose from the dead did so called miracles. There is no proof of this outside of their bible but that what they will claim!
