When walking the fine line of Life, some will stumble upon the realization of the mind-splitting paradox of the physical and the spiritual world.

And, within this realization it is conveyed that what our mind perceives as real, is merely a reflection of our own inner-self; and, that which we perceive to be outside of ourselves is really inside of ourselves.

With this realization, the question lies...
What more is needed, but to change our own mind fully/conclusively, if the drama of the outer is merely the drama of the inner?

(Sorry if this doesn't seem worded well, but somethings are hard to put into physical words. Thanks for listening...)

6,000,000,000 free wills create this place I sometimes call home, what can one alone such as I do? 6,000,000,000 reflections of the one light, and most call us insane. ~ : )

"What more is needed, but to change our own mind fully/conclusively, if the drama of the outer is merely the drama of the inner?"

Solipsism--the idea that the world is a creation of our own minds--is a nice, straightforward philosophy. Unfortunately, the Universe doesn't seem to operate that way. You can try with all your mental might to try and leviate, but you will NEVER levitate by telekinesis alone.

On the other hand, I do believe that having a positive attitude can alter your life in simple, down-to-earth ways. For example, if you think nicely about other people, you'll be nicer towards them and they'll reciprocate by being nice to you...

A better question might be "paper or plastic". I mean when you think about it, it's all our perception so it doesn't matter. Just get plastic and imagine you're helping the environment by getting paper - because paper really doesn't kill trees, that's someone else's reality. In fact plastic really helps trees grow in my reality, so if your pick paper instead of plastic you're a tree killer, but that would be judgmental of me to say something like that, so I will just say "I love you" in a purely non sexual way - because I would not want to make you feel uncomfortable.

Yes indeed, but at the end of the day the dishwasher still needs loading and the trash still needs taking out. It's all very well to talk about philosophical intangibles but we still need to live in the real world.

"what our mind perceives as real, is merely a reflection of our own inner-self" - wrong.

"that which we perceive to be outside of ourselves is really inside of ourselves." - wrong.

I have no idea what the drama stuff means, but based on your previous wrong conclusions I'd say that it is bound to be...

It is not mind-splitting to us cats at all. We just lie around all day long, without any exercise, yet we can jump heights ten times our length. I'd like to see a human try that.

Us cats are always on our toes.

Oh no, I GET it, but I just don't see where the paradox you speak of lies. :P

I live in a universe that is specific to MY eyes and ears, while you live in a universe that is specific to YOUR eyes and ears. So what? *lol*

(Or did I just miss the question entirely?)

There are obviously going to be many paradoxes when dealing with negatives.

Three cheers for the psuedo- intellectual. Are you trying to impress us or can you articulate a real point?

Kind of a wordy way of seeing it isn't it? Cogno ergo sum.
