When our government enforces ALL the laws against illegal aliens ,this nation will take a giant step towards normality. Until then we are drowning in a sea of unlawfulness and personal greed,with no regard to the future of this great nation or its citizens.

Bystander apathy, Too many bleeding hearts that want me to support the world. I am pro LEGAL immigration, I am one.I am against those that come and take all they can and leave after racking up hundreds of thousands and left carnage in their wake.I deal with the trash that has been conveniently dispatched to our country and the abuse I take every night at work from these self serving filthy people is distressing.Of course not everyone is that way, but around here it is getting worse and I am fed up. The politicians are so blindsided by these folks and their votes, Thats a joke.Amnesty for 12 mil (get real add double that when the rest of the family comes too) I am not prejuding anyone , I have lived in a third world country and don`t want this fine country to become one.If you are pro illegal,you support them.Just my 2c

If people started following the laws of the land and stopped the North American Union where they are trying to combine Mexico, the USA and Canada into one nation.

The US needs to make English the standard language - so we all can communicate
The US needs to dump the income tax and replace it with a value added tax so we all pay our fair share
We must secure our borders by arresting owners of companies who heir undocumented workers who use public services.
Public education must be year round and include a two year college degree. Let private eduction take over from there.
All cit zens must join the arm forces for training for a 4 to 6 month training period.

Better education for EVERONE!!

Once we have a more educated and cultured society, then and only then can we have a government that will implement all the needed laws with compassion and understanding for all those that will be affected.

My son is currently in Jr. high in a city of 250k and is currently taught 2 subjects. Reading and math! Where are we going to get in the future with a generation that only knows reading and math? What happened to history and science and PE (get some exercise!) for crying out loud??

I know this question was asked in the immigration section, so I guess everyone is going to say immigration. But really, while all of us are so wrapped up in saying NO more illegals, we are ignoring more serious issues at hand.

Future immigration laws will be in the hands of our future generation, that is so far under educated.

But jaden,how much does it cost to teach illegals? Well first of all they dont want to assimilate into the classroom,they are raised TO THINK americans owe them a free ride,They feel they have special rights,hum when my immigant ancestors came here they gave to the economy,they worked hard to make a difference in AMERICA,but now illegals,especially mexicans just want to burn my flag and be ingreat welfare recipiants,I know there are mexicans in America that love this country and work hard and fight at war just the same to have these rights,heres an idea stop the welfare!I grew up poor,like many AMERICANS,we know how to survive,the sadest thing I have ever seen in my life is giving to minoritys while our veterans go without,where are priorities?So to answer your question I would stop the welfare,mother nature will sort it all out.

I suppose it'd be a major step forward if you could get Americans to stop lining up along disparate lines of race, color and culture within America, and just all self-identify as Americans, only.

Stop all immigration , legal and illegal till war is over . Then close borders and limit immigration to replacement only .Before we become a 3rd world nation .
We will have to raise taxes to pay for war , more schools , better health care for children , environment clean up , repair and build more roads and build and maintain clean hospitals .

Strengthen the immigracion laws, especially eliminating the stupidity that two illegals can bear a citizen; keeping better records of who enter this nation; and forcing those who want to come here to have a citizen as "sponsor" so the government can have someone to pay for what the illegal does.
