Girls who always have a cell phone in their hands, are they faking?

I see girls, cell phone in hands, all the time that seem to be talking on the phone? Are they faking to have somebody in the other line?
For me, about 90% of that is fake!
Maybe they are not talking to anybody but try to discourage any boys who will attempt to come close to them!
For real, dont laugh lol! Cuz they are always on their phone like crazy! I'm like damn, who you talking to? People like to feel important sometimes i guesss! What do you think? i'm wrong? I may be right?

i can't stand people that talk all loud on their cellphones in public~especially when it's a small public group and that's all you hear is that persons conversation. do you really think i want to hear about your stupid *** boyfriend and you're nasty trip to the nail salon?!?!?
when i'm in public and someone calls me, i make it quick and quiet and then hang up. i don't like people listening to me talk on the phone anyway.

The only time I've ever faked a phone call is while on stage or in some way (obviously) acting. I wouldn't any other time. I do have one friend who has to answer every single call when she's on the phone with me. I've been put on hold for significant periods of time before. It's irritating, but it's still not faking.

I can feel what your going through. i'm maybe moving. leaving everything. I made LOADS of friends but b4 that when i was new like _ months ago i moved here and when school started it took me 2-3 weeks to make friends but now i've got alot of buddies that i dont wanna leave. IGNORE the kids who annoy u. when she tells u to move again stand up for urself and say "NO. THIS IS MY SEAT AND THIS IS WHERE I SIT. THEY ARE MY FRIENDS AND GET YOUR OWN SEAT" dont just be quiet and let ur friends handle everything ignore your crush and make him feel that you hate him and then hes going to ask the questions that had been running through your head. like "are u mad at me?" and of course say no and maybee that just might start a new beginning i hoped i cheered u up or this helped gud luck with everything

Haha I've never tried to get out of talking to a guy by faking a phone convo, but I guess that's a pretty good tactic.

My mom did it once to get out of talking to an annoying woman.

Some girls want to make boys jealous by pretending that they are talking to their boyfriends. Sometimes, girls did that because they want boys to realise that they don't want to be close with them as they already have their boyfriends. So, you may be right.

that girl is me i love to talk on the phone most of the time we are talking but if some creepy person comes we pretend to talk on the phone

YES THE ARE FAKING...or more likely (% of them) they are talking to yet another girlfriend doing the same thing...gee i have a social life if i have 2 friends i constantly talk to..and more friends more social life sorta thinking..

Approach them anyways...just to see? ;)
Personally i dont want a girlfriend or even date..that does that...or worse pretends to lol

but it applies on both boys & girls
either are talking to NOONE,or where have free calls.
But may have diff reasons,,
to ignore,
to show business
to show crazyness
to show willigness
and lots of ness are there....

i think sometimes they do because they think it makes them look popular personally i get irritated when my rings just because someone wants to talk i only carry 1 in case my kids need me or i have an emergency
