Hello Lety,
You don't say where in Ireland you will be visiting, but may I suggest you visit the far west in and around Galway Bay area, this place is known for mild weather in Summer-time, and in July you can expecty temperatures in the mid 20s centigrade, with he gulf-stream off shore, you are assured of a warm atmosphere, in the air and in the hearts of the people there, so even if it does turn soft weatherwise you are certain of a really warm climate in the faces and the hearts of all my Irish bretheren.
My second choice for you is to visit almost anywhere else on the Cork or Kerry counties especially close to the coasts, as the air there is always as good as it is in my county of Galway, But I cannot vouch for the people there in Cork and Kerry, as I have never lived amongst them, but be assured again here that they will not cause you any harm or sadness, we too, just like Italy are a catholic country, and we look after the hearts and minds and needs of our fellow creatures.
So, Welcome to my homeland, and God Love and Bless you for your Choice of Holiday venue... Bye.. Tony M

So the weather will be shocking, I think you've gathered that at this stage! Luckily for you, you won't notice the weather as you'll be so enthralled by the beauty of Ireland. Now be prepared, it's alot different than Florida, in fact, complete opposite, just be open minded, go with the flow and you'll really enjoy yourself. Never mind the weather, you'll probably be indoors most of the time anyway. Think of the weather as the perfect excuse to take shelter in the local pub (legal drinking age here 18 mind) Why not try a pint of Guinness while yer here...'tis great stuff, it'll put hairs on yer chest!! Seriously tho, hope you have a great time, Ireland is a wonderful place. I've lived here all my life, I've done alot of travelling but there's no place like home. Enjoy the break and don't mind the weather! Slainte.

THe weather in Ireland is air, sun, wind, rain. Depending.
When I vacationed there several years ago, I had GREAT weather in late June/early July. Sun every day (5 days straight) and warm. However, I'm told that was an anomaly. THere's a good reason why Ireland is called the "Emerald Isle" and that reason is rain. And plenty of it.
Pack an umbrella and hope for fine weather.

Summer is usually about 18-20 degrees but last year it was about 26-29 degrees in June and July. The forecasters have said there is a high chance of having a hot summer again this year. However always have a raincoat and one or two jumpers. Our weather can be unpredictable. It is a little windy and wet at the moment but the temperatures are about 16 degrees. I hope you enjoy your stay.

The last 3 July's have been warm and sunny. Temp's around 20's, though will dip to 10-ish at night.
The most consistent thing about Irish weather is its unpredictability - it might rain any day.
So although you may encounter absolutely great weather, be prepared for the possibility of a gray cold, rainy day as well.

Today it's lovely .... but it changes a lot in Ireland, I remember heavy rain in the summer, and even hailstones.
Bring a rain jacket and a couple of light sweaters and some waterproof shoes as well as summery things.
