Agre sorrows are there!!

It sounds like a quote with terrible grammar. The meaning of it feels a bit cliche. Laughing kind of feels natural with people you love to be around. So the overall point of the quote seems to obvious to be considered a profitable quote.

I think its pretty true depending on the type of person you are. I love to laugh with my boyfriend, its a huge part of who we are, and it makes you feel great! I couldnt imagine being with someone that just didnt laugh with me. Scary thought!

It is intended for those seeking a companion ,
It is not true in the broad spectrum however . . .
What if a child was born to you who had a severe illness ?
What if you had a friend with cancer ?
Their condition would probably not leave much room for laughter but you could easily love them as a person for the quality of their heart .

It is true for a very narrow band of relationships in your life .

I agree with that. Love = happiness and happiness = laughter, at least that's the way I look at it. I definately couldn't love someone with whom I never laugh with.

I almost agree. But I think about it, now that you made me, and I realize how seldom I have laughed with some people I thought I loved, like grandparents. Troubling thought, that...

no, i don't agree. the first example that comes into my mind is a newborn baby. you can love the baby, but you won't be able to laugh w/ the baby right away. laughing together can definately improve the relationship, but i don't believe that it's a requirement for love.

I totally agree.

My life is all about smiling and laughin and making others smile and laugh. So if you can't laugh.. there's no happiness and with no happiness... no chance of love
