Most people are not happy with their weight. The media shows 'perfect bodied' people as being rich, famous and the American dream. Most people do not, or can not have a washboard stomach, ripped bicepts (men) or big boobs, tiny waists (women). It is an ideal that is pretty much unatainable. Because of this people are unhappy with what they look like. I am 5'2" and weigh 103 and I feel fat many days- it is rediculous, foolish and shallow I know. People need to focus less on the image in the mirror and focus on the person inside. We would all be more beautiful if we helped others and the world.

Happy with weight? WAIT!!!
I am 5' 3" female and am supposed to be 50-56 Kgs approx, I am 44 Kgs.
I get two opinions...
1. Be happy with your weight now... once you bear children you'll put on LOTS of weight...
2. Eat properly... you're two skinny!!! (I prefer small frequent meals with lots of junkies, eat at least four to five meals a day and some snack breaks!!!)
I like the first one... be positive...

Yes. I finally got over my weight worries by tracking body fat % and inches instead of pounds. At 17% body fat, I'm right in the middle range of an athletic and healthy weight, and I'm happy about that.

The normal BMI according to the Center for Disease Control is between 18.5 and 24.9. As long as you are between those numbers, in good health, and reasonably good phisical conditions, you should be happy with whatever you weight. If not then do something about it.

Reasonably happy. I could stand to lose about 10 pounds, but I'm not working on it. As long as strangers don't say I'm pregnant.

I am not happy, but I am working on my self-esteem and to accept who I am.. however, I still got to watch out what I eat! and eat little portions and everything, but I am happier with my weight than it used to be..
