First time buying a car from a dealer and didn't think to ask when I bought the vehicle. Any info would be great.

Take the car to a Chrysler dealer and have them check it in their computers. If the recall repairs were completed I would expect them to show up in the computer. The most likely dealership to have completed the repairs is the one where the car was originally purchased when new. If you can't find the info on any paperwork that came with the car I think you can get it from carfax.com by running the VIN number. You'll also find out any other history that might not have been revealed to you when you purchased the car. btw...I rented an '06 PT for a couple of weeks, fun car. I hope you enjoy yours. :)

Two suggestions, call the dealership and give them the vin#. Or you can call Chrysler direct and they will check and see what recalls or open, have been performed etc.

Note: You might also ask them to check the warranty history for you to see what repairs have previously been performed. I recommend this when some one is buying a used car. It can be very helpful in making a decision to purchase.

If it's had multiple repairs for the same concern then you may want to consider another car. It it's had very little then chances are you aren't buying a lemon.

Generally a sticker is placed under the hood of the car, indicating the recall and the technician that did the work. If you don't see any tags or stickers, have the service department run the VIN and they have a record of what has been done to the car as far as factory recalls and updates.

the recalled repair , is done at a dealer ship, then it is loged into their computer. all you need to do is call the dealer ship and ask if it was done.

Go back to the dealership. Or at least give them the VIN and their records will show right away.
