It is a delicious irony that at the basis of fundamentalist creationism is the perceived need to use science to prove the Bible is the inspired word of God, and in so doing abandon faith altogether. That is, rather than being willing to let their faith in the existence of a creator be the basis of their belief, creationists seek scientific proof that there HAD to be a creator.

Does this not, in fact, make them members of a community of faithlessness?

I think you make a good point and it is certainly worth considering. The only thing is, most of the fundamentalist creationist care little about science or proof from science, they just deny any other thought exists.

That makes a lot of sense although many would say that it strengthens their belief and faith in the existence of God by studying the universe. Some would even say that it shows God how serious they are about getting to understand him and the way that he created the universe. Oh well I guess it depends on the person's perception as everybody sees things differently from one another. I'm sure you already know where I stand on the issue however.

I don't see a problem with it. I think we need to research things, even things of the Bible. I am studying Greek so I can better understand the original text of the New Testament. Does that mean that my faith is lacking? I say not.

God does have that great concepts's eye that merely God would have. God designed and outfitted this sunlight-kissed international for this reason that life would unfold by utilising ferocious experiments. God conjures up the life of all new creatures, of human beings, of bugs, of ferocious beasts, of plant life which could not flee style foes, at each and every 2d of this earthly life. All creatures are mating for sort spanking new life as commanded by utilising skill of God; for this reason life is repeating itself devouring and producing new creatures. What an stunning concepts's eye! As we are expressions of limited life, our concepts's eye is undesirable or plenty limited, plenty that we would ultimately finally end up believing that our God does lack concepts's eye. for this reason additionally themes look to bypass. Do now have a snigger in loving corporation corporation or extra desirable sublimely all on your guy or female.

You misunderstand the term "faith". You are writing as if faith equates to blind belief. Christianity discourages this type of mindless faith (though unfortunately many Christians engage in it).

These scientists have faith in evidence. That is to say that based on what we can observe and verify, they rest their faith in the direction of the evidence; which they believe in a very compelling way points to God.

Absolutely, if you reject part of the bible as inacurate or misinterpreted, then who determines what parts are true and what parts are misunderstandings.

If one tries to rewrite the bible in order to make it fit in with science they are rejecting the written word or God for a new revelation, making them no better than other 'christian' offshoots like Mormons and JWs who rely on extrabiblical books for doctrine and belief.

In essence they become the very people they love to hate.

Creation Science is a misnomer. Science involves observing natural phenomena, making hypotheses, testing those, and reaching conclusions based upon that research. Creation non-Science begins with a conclusion, then does "research" to prop up that conclusion.

It is not science at all!!!
