Do you just need to hear the words "I agree"?

Feel better about my beliefs if you agreed? No. I would be happy for you if you found Christ as your savior, but that is a decision entirely up to you. All we can do as Christians is spread the Word of God and you alone make a choice for yourself.

No. I never asked you to pretend or to believe in my religion. The most I ever ask when discussing my viewpoints with anyone is that they take from it the same thing I expect to take from them: an understanding for why they think that, or what they think. If you pretend just because you think that's what I want, you're wrong. That would actually get me madder then if you stood your ground. I'd respect you more for staying true to your beliefs then trying to make me feel better.

I think so. I think that is a common human response. I like to read answers/comments from people with the same beliefs that I have. It may also be that they are much more polite.

Someone telling me that what I believe in is interesting or helpful is much more rewarding than someone telling me I belong to a cult.

If you disagree with my beliefs in a positive (not rude, negative, childish, etc.) way that does not bother me though.

We share because we love Jesus and his message, and have hope of a personal relationship with the Savior for all those who don't know him.

As the Bible says, Heaven and all the angels rejoice everytime someone comes to know Jesus. We do the same.

It isn't about what I need to hear. It is about what God needs to hear from you.........

No. I don't need someone else to agree with me in order to validate my beliefs. And I certainly wouldn't ask someone to outright lie about believing. You can agree or not, it doesn't change my belief one bit.

I don't need for you or anyone else to agree with my beliefs--I am perfectly content in them on my own.
I 'll be honest with you though and tell you I wish you did believe in Jesus, but not for my benefit.
I will also tell you that we can disagree and still be kind to each other. I don't condemn you and I hope you don't condemn me.

What I feel about my relationship to God has nothing to do with you. I don't need you to agree with me and that is your business. So, no if you disagree that is fine, however, you can still be considerate of others feelings.

No, To me it is personal and I do wish for influence on you but I give the results of my attempts up to God. We as a servant of God can only plant a seed, It is up to God to make it take root and grow.

I wouldn't ask you to take on a burden like that, but since I'm an Atheist, I don't have to.
