He and I would probably be buds. I used to sit on the bus with a guy who is now a rabbi. He still tells his people about the Pagan who debated with him.

Namaste,
Aren't you glad that God is a forgiving, and merciful God! That his children are unconditionally loved and forgiven!

If Jesus was in minstry today, how would he view my life? he would cry. Ouch. Because, I don't fully understand "uncondional love and forgiveness" I know I am, but if I KNOW< THAT I KNOW I would walk in more peace, joy, love. Than I do now. He would not condemn me...no guilt ridden messages. Convict yes, condemn no. With Him, you want to change, and he gives you the power too. How AWESOME is that?!?!

I hope I answered that...

if jesus was around today instead of back then there would probably be no ministry because he'd be in a mental institution.

Hopefully he would find my life course to be a good one. I'm no angel and have had a time in my teens, but now I'm really learning to lean on my faith and guidance from God.

The same way that He does now, with compassion and disappointment. I keep screwing everything up, but He is ever-patient.

Many of us and much of the western church would be criticized by Christ as He criticized the pharisees: greed, arrogance and ungrace abound in many of our churches and many of our lives.

Thanks for the question.

We would then all find out that he's probably actually Buddhist and that he finds the prevailing concept of 'god' to be shallow, closed-minded, unproductive, destructive. and utterly ridiculous.

Oh, man. *hangs head in shame*
He would not think of me the same way I think of myself, no doubt.
