When you're too scared to say anything for fear that someone, somewhere might take offense. I think it's happening in today's society. No matter what you say, someone will take offense and get you in trouble. Be the topic polical, religious, or ethnic, there will always be the person who takes offense. Politacl correctness was supposed to make us a bit politer, but it's more like a cage. We have to worry about what we say in case we accidently slip.

Political correctness is a manufactured term of the radical religious reich. Either you treat humans with basic human dignity or you don't. Either you care what you say or you don't.

In other words, appeasement is appeasement, but political correctness is whatever you wish it to be to make yourself out as the victim of it.

i think of the full concept of political correctness has long gone too a procedures of previous due, with all human beings so afraid to even say a be conscious like "wog" devoid of somebody taking offence at it. I remember a time in Australia the place actors on television exhibits alongside with "Kingswood u . s . a ." could hire a type of feedback at different countries and no one took offence at it, by way of fact it replaced into all interior the call of humour.

When facts are ignored and ignorance is coddled. Take for example, creationism, we are supposed to be PC and respect their beliefs that dinosaurs didn't exist and the flood really happened etc. when all scientific evidence points to the contrary.
I feel I should not have to respect the belief in creationism any more than I respect the belief that the moon is made of cheese.

Political correctness is down right annoying. It's impossible to be sensitive to every group. If you are sensitive to one, you are inevitably going to offend another. The real solution is to develop thicker skins and be able to defend our own ideas.

This doesn't mean allowing people to be purely offensive or incite violence, but I think we should allow people to speak their viewpoint first and worry about the feelings that it triggers later.

I guess at the point that Bad People (tm) realize they can manipulate such a policy of enforced tollerance to gain concessions.
