Yes it will help but honestly your killing yourself. Have atleast 3 meals a day and you can have atleast 1000 calories per day. Drink lots of water and excercise for 30mins or more.

By following this diet you will lose weight but once you stop and start eating as per normal, you will gain back more weight than what you lost.

Yes, you will lose weight - and not where you want to,and will get sick, besides.
The best way to lose weight is a combination of diet and exercise. Do alternating days of weight lifting and aerobics.
Soup cans are great weights, situps and pushups build muscle, walking free.
Eat breakfast! Many studies show that people who eat breakfast lose more weight and do better in school.
Don't know how old your are, or your weight or activity.level.
You should eat at least 2 servings each of meat and dairy;
3 of whole grains, 3 veg, and 2 fruit. Take vitamins every day, especially on a diet. Drink lots of water - at least 8 glasses a day.
Avoid fried, sauced, fast, and junk food. If you have to go drive-through, get a salad or kids meal.

Oh my gosh...that's not enough food. If you don't eat enough food your body will just store what you are eating as fat reserve. I started on a 1000 calorie diet Sat. and don't eat after 6:30 - 7:00 and have already lost 6 pounds. I go to the gym at least 4 days a week also.

Lose weight? maybe.
Lose consciousness? also maybe!

I don't think skipping meals is EVER a good idea, even only from a point of view of trying to loose weight- you're body will begin to stockpile energy if it thinks you're starving.

Drinking plenty of water is great, but too much is too much by definition. You can actually damage your body if you over hydrate (it is possible to drink yourself to death on water alone)

The minimum recommended amount of exercise per day if you're not trying to loose weight is 20 minutes of load bearing exercise. If you're trying to loose weight I'd think about upping the amount of time spent exercising- it doesn't have to be frantic, you could try walking or dancing or yoga?

I think that dieting can be risky for your health if you don't think it through carefully, try and talk to a health professional or follow a recommended programme. If you have an existing medical condition you should only embark on a diet under medical advice.

good luck

It will only work for a little while, but then as soon as you start eating regular, and you will start eating regular, you will just gain all the weight back and some. Your body needs food and if you dont give it food then your body goes into starvation mode and everything you eat will just stick to you. Be smart and just eat healthy and exercise it is the best thing to do. I lost 78lbs doing just that. I weighted 207lbs and now weight 129lbs. Good Luck!

No - but not for the reasons you think.

You are eating too little. Your body is going to force you to eat - you will not be able to resist this. When you are forced to eat, you will binge big time, and all your work will be flushed down the drain.

I don't know your height / weight / age, so I can't give you a maintenance caloric burn rate. Your caloric intake, to lose weight, should be your maintenance burn rate minus 300. Your body can handle that. It cannot handle 500 calories per day - it will go into starvation mode, and will force you to eat eventually.

You can't fight 10,000 years of genetic evolution.

Well first of all u shouldn`t skip your breakfast, your meal should start with your breakfast containing fruits, milk low in fats, brown bread and low fat butter. The next meal should be your lunch cointaing green leafy vegetables, spinach, and other vegetables if you are non-vegetarian then you could include non-fried chicken/fish . For dinner raw green salad, bean sprouts, tofu, boiled rice. You should drink lots of water everyday. All meals should be cooked in olive oil. If hungry in between meals only much fruits.

No it won't work - your metebolic rate will slow down and your body will actually hang on to its fats stores because it thinks you are starving.
Aim for 10 calories/ pound of desired body weight. (If you want to weigh 125 eat 1250 calories) Nothing scientific it just works for me.
Eat healthy and work out.

okay, are you worried about getting fat? or do you have like a body image thing happening here?

I would ask a nutritionist...to see who to go to!
As for excercising...walking is your BEST bet, along with swimming and spinning(biking) and or lifting weights, and or walking thru water in the pool!
