I have noticed a lot of guys on tv lately that look like they didnt shave but i was brought up to think that was disrespectful to your girl.

I think if it's a first date type thing, clean shaven would be nice and respectful. Would show me that they care enough about themselves to look good for me.
After that though, I dont mind really, as long as its not a rat nest of mats and hasnt been washed...thats just gross.

clean shave it for a few days and let it be scruffy for a few, i like the variety and most men look hot either way.. just don't let it go out of control!
if i had a choice though, i would pick clean shaven with a tiny 5'o clock shadow that would be shaved off that night :P

It depends on the time of month.
A study found when a woman is close to ovulating, she likes macho-looking stubbly guys because they are more likely to impregnate her.
The rest of the time, she like smooth-faced girly men who will stick around and help her build a nest for the a sshole's baby.
So if your goal is to get laid, don't shave and be surly. If your goal is to get married, clean yourself up--but get DNA tests for any of your kids to make sure they aren't some stubbly guy's.

I think a hairy beard is just gross i have to make my boyfriend shave because i dont like kissing him with all that rough stuff on his face and plus fresh shave is sexy.

In no way do I think it's "disrespectful" I simply prefer shaved and just overall "clean" look.

I like both. If we were going out somewhere special, of course I would like clean shaven. If we were just hanging out keeping it casual, going to dinner or a movie, then one day growth is okay!

i think men look nice when they are clean-shaven, but there's nothing wrong with a few days' growth, especiallly when you are off work, and just feel like relaxing.
my preference is clean-shaven. my boyfriend doesn't shave often, and sometimes he looks like the garbage man! i hate it!!!! grrrr.

well, it depends on the guy and what type of relationship it is. if the beard looks good on him, then i am okay with it. i dont find it disrespectfull. except if we are going somewhere formal (prom, wedding, black tie event) thats when he needs to shave.

I would rather him be clean shaven, esspecially if he's going to meet any of my family or anything like that. I make's him look more respectable.

I prefer clean shaven. I don't think it has anything to do with respect though. That's just my preference.
