temporarily, but permanently you can wreck your colon! eventually your body will build up a tolerance to the laxatives and u'll gain weight again, then if you start to OD on them to lose weight again, you're colon will go into spasm and you will not be able to control the diarrhea, at which time your colon and intestines will be destroyed and your sphincter (butt muscle) will lose all control until you need a colostomy bag because the feces will just fall out of you.
Still sound like a good idea???

You can lose weight by taking laxatives, but you can also wind up in the hospital for dehydration. The only sure way to lose weight is to watch what you eat and exercise. Anything else is a quick fix, which will have you putting on more weight than before.

Possibly, but it messes up your digestive system and is unhealthy. When you stop using laxatives after awhile, it can cause you to have problems with constipation that you may not have had before. Your body can become dependent on them for digestion. Not a good idea.
My doctor recommended non-stimulant fiber pills or powders. These are healthy because most people don't get enough fiber in their diets. I followed her advice and lost 5 lbs. Just don't overdo it with those either.

Yes, but It's not a good idea because your body will become dependent on them; and the only way you would be able to pass bowel would be from taking a laxative...and I'm sure you don't want to take them for the rest of your life.

obviously you have gotten your answer. If you are wanting to make sure that things are passing at a better rate without harming yourself, try taking in more fiber (in foods, supplements, or powders). It will help make you "regular" and will take built up toxins out of your body. A person is supposed to consume about 35 grams a day. Fiber also helps you feel full and keeps you feeling full for longer.

Yes, but that is NOT a good idea. You could seriously damage your body in the process. So not worth it. Just do it the old-fashioned way: eat right and exercise. The results take longer, but they also last longer. Don't go for harmful quick fixes.

Yes...and you also strive your body of nuturtions and must need vitamins. Basically you can eat and take a laxative and force the food out of your body before your body can get the things you need. So you'll basically be starving yourself.
