Any church or body of believers that believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, believe that he lived a perfect life, died on the cross as payment for all the sin of mankind, and rose again to be with the Father and offers His salvation to anyone who will receive it, is the "true" church. You can call them by many names, but if they don't believe the above, they cannot be considered the "true" church.

I don't believe there is a true church. I am an Agnostic and believe that there is a very mysterious and unknown supreme being who is responsible for the creation of earth and everything on it. All churches, synagogues, mosques, etc. are not true churches since one does not exist. Unfortunately, churches (religions) are responsible for a lot of death and destruction in the world. By their narrow-minded beliefs they actually encourage hate and discontent in the world.

A community that helps people of that faith so tha tthey can grow in their behaviour and understanding of the belief.

But therefor it is very nessecary that it is an OPEN community that acts out of loving-kindness and compassion. I mean by "open" that is not convicting members of the community or people who have an other belief but that is always acts and speaks out of compassion.

By acting in this way outsiders will get real intrest in the way this community and it members lives and acts and will join that community. This is much better that preaching and missionating others.

Let your way of living be an example of your faith. Our lifes must be filled with loving-lindness and compassion for all living beings without discrimination or judgement. In this way we can grow. And a community can be than the home where people can find this atmosphere and can find the help and understanding of others who try to life in the same way.

If you're already mormon, what the hell do you care about anyone else's beliefs? You've already decided that they're all wrong and and "abomination".

If you've any doubt, better talk to your bishop, fast and pray, and just before you pass out, Jesus will appear to you. Maybe wearing a Ronald McDonald outfit, but he'll set you straight.

On the other hand, if you're actually serious about the validity of mormonism, you're going to have start reading the satan-spawned 'anti-mormon' books to understand not just what you believe, but how you came to believe it.

Or remain in your smug self-assured fantasy that you're right and everyone else is wrong. Choose the blue pill or the red one.

I don't believe that only one church is the true church. I beleive it is what is in ones heart. Having said that. the meaning of church to me is one of fellow beleivers in God. Though we may differ from each other, we do have a common theme and that is the love of the Lord.
But I do try to follow a church that lines up with the word of God, that being the bible.
I beleive in praying only to God, not idols, Mother Mary, or other things people pray to. I beleive we have to be careful and test every spirit because not all are from God

Read 1 John 4:1-3. Any Chruch that preaches that JESUS is the son of GOD and came in the form of man and died for our sins and when we believe him are saved is a true chruch.

Anything that doesnt isnt a true church.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

In my opinion, the true church:

1. Believes in God, the eternal father, and in his son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2. Believes that man will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
3. Believes in the Atonement of Christ.
4. Believes in first, faith in the lord Jesus Christ; second, repentence; third, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. Believes that a man must be called of God to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.

Well... you know the rest.

A church is a collection of people all professing beliefs which none of them hold in full. Five people will always believe five different things, and if they say they all believe the same then all of them are liars. The go-to-meeting Quakers (not the Quaker church!) have it right, truth comes from within.

the "true" church is any meeting of two or more sentient entities for the service of the balance. It is not always visible but when it is true seekers know they belong to it. It's law is love, anything that does not ultimately serve love is sin.
The adepts of this church are simple enough for a child to understand but too complex for a genius to grasp.
He whom many call the Christ did do all that was prophesied by the mystic children of Abraham and all that was written for non-sectarian apolitical desire to advance human spirituality. He was tested, weighed and measured and found free of mindless useless desires. He can call himself son of EHYEH-ASHER-EHYEH with no fear of repercussions from any Alpha wolves shepherding the sheep. He is Chief of chiefs and I pray to be worthy to serve him should my fortune afford me the chance to.
