No, people would go to hell after they reject God's terms of forgiveness, but they would have to make a choice first of whether to accept or reject those terms.
As for those of you who think it's unfair for God to send someone to hell for eternity, you're confusing God's love with a lack of justice. God cannot allow sin in His presence, and so if we refuse His offer of forgiveness through Jesus, since He can't allow us into heaven, He has no choice but to send us to hell. It's not His fault that we reject His terms of forgiveness. We have absolutely nobody to blame if we reject Him. If we go to hell, it's because of the choice we have made, not because God is not loving.
What if God were to let everyone into heaven and just forget about their sin no matter if they were sorry or not? THAT would be the ultimate injustice. What if murderers and rapists and child molesters were just let off for free regardless of whether they were sorry? If a judge did that on Earth, we would have them strung up for letting hardcore criminals literally get away with murder. And we expect a just God to do that? That would be an absolute travesty of justice. Who would want to be with a God who was so callous toward victims?

If you are living in this current life, you are not in Hell.
Hell is a place of eternal torment, created for The Devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). God does not want this for man, but God will not allow sin in his presence. Sin came about when man disobeyed God's law (1 John 3:4). Since The Devil was the creator of sin, and since man wishes to indulge in sin, he will be sent to the place where the one who created the acts that he decided to indulge in will be sent.
Additionally, Eternity is not a part of time, but outside of time. Eternity can't be measured by our standards because of its vastness. It is never ending. Think about the Rich Man and Lazarus found in Luke 16:19-31. When the Rich Man went to Hell (Tatarus), he was able to see, feel, and remember things from his life. Imagine having to deal with this for all of eternity. Imagine remembering rejecting Jesus and that you could've been saved, but allowed your friends or family to sway you away from God. Hell also consists of flame, smoke, worms, and other horrors that will have to be endured.
That is only the first part of Hell that will be experienced. The second part comes after one stands before Jesus on Judgment Day. After being sentenced, all sinners will be cast into the Lake of Fire that burns with fire and brimstone (Gehenna) (Revelation 20:12-15).
Is that the fate that you want for yourself? If not, you must be born again. Here's how it was done in the Bible:
1. You must first HEAR the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
2. You must then BELIEVE the Word of God (Hebrews 11:6).
3. You must then REPENT of your sins (Luke 13:3,5).
4. You must then CONFESS Jesus Christ to be the Son of God (Matthew 10:32-33).
5. You must then BE BAPTIZED for the remission of your sins (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38)
This is the only way that you can be assured eternal life when Jesus returns. All other ways are not found in the Bible and there are no examples of them found, either.

No. We are constrained by time. Eternity is a place that is outside of time. You could not walk into the past or into the future. There is only now, here on this earth.
It is only after you die that judgment will come. If you die without knowing Jesus Christ as your savior, yes, you will go to hell forever.

There is a saying, You make your own heaven or hell right here on earth, so if that is the case believe in god for his teachings and maybe you will find peace in the way you live and stop thinking of hell. Hell is Satan's place, don't go there.

Yes unless u made JESUS u LORD and Saviour u wouldnt be able to enter heaven.
And yes u might go through bad times here on earth.Often people have everything they need yet they miss something. They wont be able to fill that void only GOD can.
But GOD did a way to reconcile us back through JESUS.we are made in the image of GOD.
GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.
John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

Hell is a state of being apart from God, so if someone had openly rejected Jesus' invitation to be saved, then they are in hell already. Not sure if this answers the question, but that's how I see it.

Are YOU aware that Jesus was NOT a lord? And we DO believe in Jesus (Peace be upon him). We believe him to be a PROPHET, not a LORD. The only lord is GOD, we do not consider anyone to be equal to him, not even a prophet. And we are WELL AWARE that we are sinful. No human on this planet can prove to be otherwise, not even you christians. Why do you christians call Jesus (peace be upon him) the son of God? Because of him being born to a virgin woman? That doesn't prove jesus to be son of god, that was only a miracle of god! What do you say about Adam (Peace be upon him) then? He was born without a mother OR a father, so why is Jesus (Peace be upon him) given greater preference as son of God?

Yes. Speaking from a more Eastern Christian view of Hell, Hell is a spiritual state more than a place.
Here, and now, our spiritual states are mixed by our heart. If we grow in inner peace, love, and become one with Christ, then we facilitate a spirit that becomes like God, even divine. If we refuse Christ or live a life of selfishness and hate, then we transform ourselves into a Hellish image of Satan.
At the Second Coming, God will unveil Himself to the whole world in His fullness and commence the final judgment. Since Christ's resurrection brought life to all men when He despoiled death (Rom. 5.12ff.), there will necessarily be a place for them (I don't pretend to understand how this will be), but their heart is what makes it heaven or hell. The word for "brimstone" in Revelation also means "divinity." If people do not love God, if they do not desire Him (whether out of outright hatred or of holding on to some false conception of God as the ideal), then they will experience God as fire. God will take those good things that are His, and He will leave them as they desired, and they will be all burnt up, like ash, but since God will be all in all, and the whole cosmos divinized, there will be no place for comfort for these men.
Some theologians have argued for a universalism (by repenting after death, these men change their state; Christ did despoil death and leave Satan "alone and miserable" in Hades), but the Church settled that question at an Ecumenical Synod by saying that if one is in Hell, he stays. When God takes His things and leaves the person, they have no real life or existence, nor do they even have the power to repent. Just as the saints are divinized, become like God, so also are those in Hell fully satanized, taking on the characteristic of the demons who can no longer repent.
While that was lengthy, it presents a different view of Hell than most are going to. Heaven is within you, and Hell is within you. As Christ said, "the Kingdom of God is within you," (Lk. 17.20-21) and so by extension so must also be the kingdom of Hell. Both are mystically present now, in every human being. It is the "interior kingdom" to borrow a phrase from Kallistos Ware.
