I mean really understand, that this life is like one hour compared to our life after this- for those who belive in Christ Jesus, our eternal life with Him- how exciting that is! But to those who do not believe, are giving their eternal life with him in exchange for just one lousy hour of wasted wordly happiness on earth. When this earth will someday perish- and that is like one hour, one single hour, even less...compared to ETERNITY.
Think about it.
It boggles my mind to think of how I will be living with my Savior forever and ever...how there will be no end- and how exciting that is!
So would you rather give up your chance at eternal life in heaven forever and ever-- for one measley hour of meaningless fun? Or realize that this life is temporary and that there is a reason we are here, and that we do only have one chance to receive eternal salvation through Jesus Christ? Give up sin and live for Him, or live in sin and give up life eternal?

1 Chronicles 16:36- Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the Lord.
I cannot comprehend eternity, but as long as I have assurance it will spent with my Lord, then that's ok with me! Our job is to spread God's love to the nations, because God is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to a saving knowledge of His grace.
Again I say, AMEN!

You haven't increased my understanding of "eternity" which is not surprising because nobody can adequately conceive of existence without intervals of time.

The closest you come is being convinced that you will be happily existing with Jesus for a very very long time.

This tells me you have no clue what eternity is.

I enjoy the relationship I have with Jesus right here and now. My spiritual self has been, and forever will be, eternal.

How ought to the finite ever totally locate the infinite? i will could invite you to teach your omniscience concerning "the infinite" Edit; classic.... You deride Christians for no longer being waiting to "understand eternity or infinity" possibly featuring the options actually comprehensible....then follow up your protection with the admission in an edit " i recognize that infinity is infinitely more beneficial than the biggest element i will image." obviously you have not theory this out..... (or displayed your omniscience concerning infinity) genuinely, you've in straightforward words affirmed the legitimacy of my counter argument..... you do not "understand eternity or the infinite" you without difficulty admit it...and that i for sure, agree.

I have a hope for eternal life, in a paradise condition, yet I have a hard time comprehending eternity. Forever living in a paradisic condition, it's a wonderful idea, and I look forward to it, but, it's hard to realize it until it actually happens,
when all will ''bend their knee before Jehovah.

What you don't understand, is that you get eternal life you need to get three wishes from a genie. Why are you not rubbing lamps. If you think this is just a fairytale, well so it is, but so is your god belief. Why do you think your fairytale is any more likely than the genie fairytale? Frankly the genie seems far more believable to me.

Plus, I am not sure what you mean about me living in sin. I paid that parking ticket over 25 years ago.

Like God, I think eternity is something that mere humans are not supposed to really grasp the full meaning of. Perhaps there meanings are somewhat similar. Eternity is an awesome thought that really has no end.

You know what boggles my mind?
The fact that someone is gullible and childish enough to believe in an eternal candy land spent with a mythical sky-pixie for eternity.
Now THAT boggles my mind!

This "one measley hour of meaningless fun" as you put it is all I can be sure that I have. I'm not going to waste it on fairy tales.

Edit: Labgrrl makes a brilliant point.

So it 'boggles your mind' to contemplate your forthcoming eternity with Big J, huh?

G'wan now - tell the truth. Your mind's already pre-boggled, isn't it? You tried to hide it, but I could tell.

Actually I understand infinity.

I also understand that there is no life after death, no heaven, no hell, no gods, no demons, no angles, no ghosts, no toothfairies, no pink flying unicorns, or any other silly notions.

I'd rather live in the present moment where I can make a difference.
