I was in a car accident Sunday Night. They gave me toradol for pain and sent me home. I followed up with Family Doctor today for pain in back and arms and he gave me Durabac Forte and Orphenadrine ER 100mg to take. This is totally new to me. Has anyone ever taken these and do they work to take the pain away? I cant feel a change yet and I took the meds 1 hour ago?

You don't say how bad the car accident was. I was in a very bad one 24 years ago, and went to a specialist who was a quack, who put me on muscle relaxers. They did absolutely no good. A friend sent me to a chiropractor, who took x-rays and referred me to a neurologist who told me that I had torn my muscles and ligaments from my neck on down, stretched my tendons to where there was no surgery that could possibly ever help me, that chiropractic was my only choice for treatment, and that I could count on getting arthritis in my 40's.
He was absolutely right. The only thing that helps to relieve the chronic pain is monthly chiropractic treatments, and having an occasional beer. I also won a settlement in a jury trial for pain and suffering for the rest of my life. You should go to a chiropractor and have x-rays taken. (I also had physical therapy).

I take Durabac for chronic back pain. It takes a couple of hours for the first couple of doses to take effect but will help. I have to take one almost daily but they do help me. I have never taken Orphenadrine ER

Did your doctor tell you if it was extended release? Is it supposed to last for at least 12 hours? Extended release meds take anywhere from 1-2 hours to start working. If they are not extended release I would call your doctor and talk to them. You may need to go to physical therapy, massage therapy, and/or a Chiropractor.
