NO!! The frech language is so beautiful and sexy that I decided to study the languange only for this reason.

Ha! I just wanted to say that I should print this page and give it to my student. She's French and she's horribly embarassed about her accent in English. I keep telling her that English speakers love French accents, but she doesn't believe me.
By the way, I love French accent too!

Well, what most of us think of when we think about the French accent is actually the Parisian accent. In Paris, they speak differently than in other parts of France. Just like someone from New York speaks differently than someone from Oklahoma.
I don't think it's polite to call someone's accent ridiculous just because it is different from your own.
Personally, I don't have a taste for the Parisian accent, but other French accents are absolutely intoxicating.

French and Spanish are considered "romance languages". Their words are soft sounding. Compare it to German.
