Eight o clock, and have her pick out her clothes the night before, so there is no fuss at 7 am.

My 5 and 6 year old were going to bed at 7:30 PM and up before the alarm went off, which told me they were getting enough sleep. If you have to drag them out of bed, they are still tired and need more sleep. Then this year they began getting up at 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM, so I moved their bedtime back to 8:00 PM. Now they are waking up at 6:30-7:00 AM, which is before they have to get up, but not too early. I would suggest 8:00 PM because by the time she actually goes to sleep it will be 8:30 or later.. Good luck. Every child differs, just make sure she is waking on her own, then you know she got enough sleep.

My 7 yr old is in bed between 8 & 8:30 to be up at 7am. This works for us - some nights she claims she's not tired, but any less sleep and she drags all the next day.

Really depends on the child. I put my daughter to bed at 7 but she never goes to sleep before 8/ 8:30 and she always gets up OK in the morning. just a case of trial and error. try 8 and if problems in morning try earlier. but i suggest a bedtime routine starting at 7 with bath, book etc. It's a good opportunity to have 1on 1 time with your daughter if possible. hope this helps.

This is my little grandaughter - exact same situation - she is in bed for 7-30 pm. My daughter reads to her for ten minutes - then sleep. They do need a lot of sleep - even though they`ll argue til they`re blue in the face that they don`t and they`re
not tired ! Especially on school nights - it`s a long day for them at school - and they`re usually worn out - bless em...........

Every child is different - some need more sleep than others. I'd try 7.00 or 8.00. Allow her to wake up naturally 1 - 1/2 hour before she needs to leave the house.

Mine always went to bed at 9 and did fine on days we had to leave the hosue that early.
It is going to depend on the child and how much sleep they need at night. How much down time do they get during the day?

All my sisters kids go to bed for about 8pm. Then they get a good nights sleep and are refreshed for the next day for school.

Bed time is bliss = piece and quiet
