It's not math. <>< is a computer version of the Jesus fish, just as :) is a computer happy face and :( is a sad face.

It's an operator similar to the "to the power of" sign, except it "ambiguates with purpose":
X <>< Y = Z
X <>< Y ~= Z (depending on the point you're trying to argue)
The real meaning is
X <>< Y = "whatever I firmly believe in my heart to be true".
1 + 1 + 1 = 1 is obviously false, but
1 + 1 + 1 <>< = 1 is true.
Usually the <>< symbol is implicit in Christian math. We only include it when necessary to disambiguate the purposeful ambiguation function's function.

I'm sorry you believe that. May I suggest that you look into countries where they've managed to strip all religion from it - such as Russia? They're angy, suspicious people, with little joy in their lives. They have no moral lawgiver - so who is the ultimate authority? Who decides morality? The government? Other people that you've given power to? They don't believe in unalienable rights endowed by their creator...they believe that government gives and takes away. There is no hope in those societies, and very little joy.

It does look a little like the ICQUS (Ichthys) symbol. That means "fish" in Greek, the language of the New Testament.
It would then stand for the first letters in the Greek expression, "Jesus Christ Son of God, Savior." (Ihsous Cristos Qeos Uios Soter)
Kinda neat math.

I could be completely wrong, but if you look at the symbols next to each other, they sort of resemble a drawing of a fish <><. My guess would be that someone typed that to make one of the ancient signs for Christianity.

It's a secret symbol... we can't tell you.
It does work though.
1 (<><) + 1(<><) +1 (<><) = 1 (<><) is true!
Also, in finance class, try out:
(90% + <><) > (100% - <><)
