A new Trader Joe's just opened in my neighborhood. I've heard great things about it... just wondering which products I should look for in particular (e.g. Two-buck Chuck, giant bar of Belgian chocolate, etc.). Thanks!

I LOVE Trader Joe's! I go there primarily for produce, they have the BEST fruits and veggies! Much better than the standard grocery stores I have never seen anything wilted, always superb and fresh.

They also have some very unique frozen items like pot stickers, tempura and other good snacks. Great frozen fruit bars, and a kick booty cheesecake too!

Check out their pastas, sauces and crackers too! My lanta I get stuff on every isle. Also a great line of natural house cleaners!

Anything Red Pepper!! the hummus, red pepper/eggplant spread, huge bottles of EVOO, omg try the SATAY, sort of a Thai pasta in the GREEN takeout box, one of the few places you can get Tea Tree Oil soap, i love the Peppermint Castel soap (my daughter thinks it's too strong), look for the chewable Acidophilus in the vitamin aisle, OMG DO NOT go pass the Orange Chicken, Yummy, everyone that comes over says "got any orange chicken"? you'll find the best wines @ the most reasonable costs there & they have the best freezer bags!!! i always shop from the catalog they send me!

- The Belgian dark chocolate mousse. It's one of the few mousses that aren't made with gelatin, so vegetarians can eat it! - The tzatziki - White bean hummus - The blueberry green tea - Restaurant style white tortilla chips (not their other chips which are sort of stale tasting sometimes) - The boxed tomato basil soup - I miss the Hot & Sour soup they used to sell in little jars - Their new Hollandaise sauce for making eggs benedict at home! - The sparkling blueberry and sparkling pomegranate juices - Their new Charles Shaw pink zinfandel, for summer especially

My favorite is their frozen tamales!

A royal pain (and mess) to make at home, these come 2 to a package, and, if you just open it slightly, put in about a half-inch of water and microwave, you've got a killer lunch in about 4 minutes!

Add some cheese and salsa for an entree that is guaranteed delish!

Best wishes!

Their hummus and flatbread. Most of their dips are good.
The washed packed fresh greens - collards, salad mixes.
They have Japanese rice crackers.
Frozen pasta with seasonings.
Good frozen cheesecakes and desserts
Soy Milk
Decent wine selection.
"Healthy" junk food.
I always find something new.

OH...MY...GOSH...

Trader Joe's sells Fage (pronounce Fa-yeh) Total Greek Yogurt with Honey...

Help me! It is so good. You have to try it. Even their Fage plain yogurt is good. The texture and taste of the yogurt is unlike any yogurt I've tasted before.

;)

They have great cheeses. And I also pick up sushi, panko crumbs, and trail mixes and wasabi peas. It's a good place, the company treats their employees well too.
