Try just putting together a nice basket of pampering tools. Since she deals with young children everyday, undoubtedly she loves her job, but she spends all day taking care of others, so give her a chance to take care of herself. You don't have to spend a lot, in fact you can get most things at a good dollar store. Pick up a basket, and fill it with pedicure tools like a peppermint foot cream, a pumice stone, nail polish, and nail files. Also, you can put in a shower gel and loofah, or bubble bath and a candle. Try to keep everything in the same color family, so that the basket looks put together and well thought out. Like an all pink and yellow basket. She will appreciate that you thought of her as a woman/friend, and not just as your kids teacher.

I've made these before, and received one. Get a vase (like the kind you get from a florist), fill it with tri-color rotini, and get about 3-4 wooden spoons (Wal-Mart or Target is fine). Arrange those in the vase with the pasta, like a floral arrangement. Then tie a nice bow around the neck of the vase.

Soup mixes and brownie mixes are also popular in mason jars.

How about a gift basket from Bath and Body Works? A little mini spa/relaxation treatment with a pretty ribbon? Day care workers must get so EXHAUSTED.

Starbucks gift card. She could probably use the coffee to keep up with the kids. lol.. I think any gift card would do. It's not too personal, but a nice gesture.
