I don't know, but for me, the further I continue my education, the harder it is to believe the religious ideas passed on to me by my parents.

I see - now it's a contest for converts. You're trying to make atheists out to be as psychotic as christians who feel compelled to preach to people every chance they get, not caring that they come off as pompous and obnoxious in the process since they're doing "the lord's work" after all.

This is a facet of the true believer's desperate need to be validated by having others agree that his wacky beliefs are acceptable. I wonder how many "converts" accept Jesus just to get rid of his annoying preachers?

I have never consciously attempted to convert anyone to atheism or Humanism. If anything along those lines, I try to remind religious people that theirs is not the only faith and to have respect for the diversity of faiths in the world. Religious people tend to think of their own faith as the only one, or at least the only "true" faith. I don't care whether they believe that or not, so long as they do not try to interfere with others enjoying the benefits of their religious freedom.

None.

Converting to Atheism is a personal decision that usually takes allot of reason and thought. One has to break down emotional belief systems that they hold dear.

Typically it takes more than one source of information to do that.

I personally converted based on a bunch of information that I found on my own, without an Atheist persuading me.

I try to provide information based on my own experience, just like a Theist, what people do with that information is up to them.

Today's religions are doing most of the converting. Do you realize how many Catholics left when it was revealed that God had been calling pedophiles to the priesthood and refused to intervene while they were molesting children?

None. I'm not into the business of converting anybody to anything at all.

Daily? That's hard. I have "converted" a few people in my lifetime... or at the very least got them to think about their religion in a different light.

But there are a lot more who are beyond all help.

Atheists don't care about converting people.

Why on earth would I try to "convert" (is "de-convert" better??) anyone. I don't care what other people believe in, so long as they don't try to force me to agree with them, change my nation's laws to fit their religion, or eradicate logical education in favor of silly religious beliefs.
