The Bible has a specific purpose: to lead man to God. Mentioning dinosaurs is irrelevant to that purpose.
The Bible does tell us that God created all that existed and that exists on earth. That would include dinosaurs, whether they are directly mentioned in the Bible or not.
Before man was created, the Bible says, "Then God commanded, 'Let the earth produce **all kinds** of animal life: domestic and wild, **large** and small' -- and it was done." (Genesis 1:24, Good News Bible, my emphasis)

The Bible does mention dinosaurs. In Job it mentions Leviathan and Behemoth (somewhere around chapter 40- my Bible isn't near me) The descriptions of these creatures are most certainly dinosaurs.

The leviathans and behemoths were not dinosaurs. More like crocodiles, which were popular in the areas the Bible describes.
Anyone who thinks the Bible talks about dinosaurs is an idiot. Plain and simple.

There is also evidence that the yellow-belly sap-sucker exists and the Bible does not mention it.
The Grand Canyon exists and the Bible doesn't mention it.
The Ming Dynasty existed and the Bible never mentioned it.
Why?
Because the Bible has a theme and it sticks to theme.
It wasn't provided so we can have references about absolutely everything that ever came along.

The term dinosaurs was created in the 1800's. The book of Job talks about behemoth and leviathon; descriptions fitting certain dinosaurs. I believe leviathon is also mentioned in Psalms or Proverbs currently.

First the word dinosaurs wasn't invented until the 1800's.
Second, dinosaurs were created by God and roamed the earth with Adam and Eve.

Many believe this is the "beasts of the earth" --they include dinosaurs, and leviathan is mentioned in job, which describes a great beast...one like a dinosaur.

the bible was written by man. the writer only knew what he had been exposed to, nothing else.
if anything, this goes against "proof of god existing" because god would have told the writer to put dinosaurs in the bible so people wouldn't question it so much

Why should it? I think penguins are more interesting but I demand the Bible mention them in order for them to exist.
