i regulary skip lunch at my school.

The lunches are one big grease bomb with butter on top.

Is it ok to skip them, or should i eat it even if they are loaded in eveything that will give you a heart attack.

skipping any meals is not good. either bring your lunch or just eat 1/2 of the greasy school food. by not eating the body has zero nutrients or calories if you eat some at least the body has something to work with until you get home. it's always better to eat a little of something bad than to let the body go catabolic. human beings are not plants we can't not create our own energy it has to be ingested

Yeah, skpping lunch is okay so long as you're supply your body with the proper nutrition and excercise before or later in the day. Generally though, it's best to eat lunch, even if it's just a little bit of food. Eating makes your metabolism become active, which is what breaks down food. If you eat in the morning or night and don't eat again for several hours, the food you ate just sits in your body. Eating moderate portions through out the day though keeps it all moving smoothly.

Besides, you can always bring a lunch. :P

Bring your own healthy lunch -- a sandwich with some protein, fruit and vegetables. You need the food for energy, to maintain your blood sugar and for general nutrition. Skipping meals is not a good idea. If you are under 18, talk to an adult, preferably a doctor or nutritionist.

Skipping any meal is not good for you. Especially if you are trying to lose weight. This is because without food your metabolism goes down and so your body isn't burning up what is in it. Sounds like the food they serve you isn't healthy at all. So bring something, an apple or a healthy sandwich. But eat something.

NO AND YES....skip the crap at school but look into a meal replacement drink or bar with low sugar. You will be amazed at the taste and how easy they are to carry with you..... YOU never want to skip any of the meals without a healthy replacement....can cause your metabolism to move a a snails speed.

It's never a good idea to skip meals. Ideally, you should consume 5-6 small meals a day. If school lunch is that gross, is there any way you can bring your own stuff?

It's not good to skip lunch. Bring something from home like a sandwich or fruit if it's nasty there.

it is ok to skip them if they are really unhealthy, or maybe have one a week. could you bring in some sandwhiches or fruit or something healthier to eat? also, why not only have a half portion of the food on sale?? hope this helps and good on you for your healthy eating! x
