Do individuals have specificly chosen and -different- roles within eternity; or, are we all the same once we finally get there?

Explain your answer, if possible... Thanks! :-D

This springs to mind the quote, "I am unique, just like everyone else!" I adore that quote.

I see many answers pointing out the fact that portions of our identity already exist in the eternal realm. This is true, but I think you might be referring to our life after we graduate from Earth University.

Yes, in general the most common vocations are Teacher, Healer, and Creator, although we are free to mix and match these skills and talents. In other words, we tend to find our own specific blend of these abilities, although we can specialize in one or more of them.
Many portions of the Self, including the blessed ego, are training in physical existence and other levels simultaneously, according to our particular gifts. This is happening right now as I type.
When you have finished your last incarnation, you will have reached a certain level of skill and you will be ready to fulfill the role you have decided on long before the annuls of time. You will always add your unique signature to any generic roles you play in this life and after, and you are always free to find a new calling at anytime during your physical or eternal existence.

I'm not all the way certain, but I think that people like pastors, and people that are really close to God will have greater roles in heaven. I think the ordinary people will probably just be angels that take orders from the higher powers. I always think what are we going to be doing for eternity in heaven. It makes me scared just thinking about it.

We all have different roles based on what we have learned or failed to learn in this life. Those who have proven themselves trustworthy will have greater positions of responsibility and stewardship over others, and will have the potential for eternal progression. Others who have shown themselves less trustworthy will only be given responsibility for things they can cope with, but will still live in one of the beautiful worlds created by God. Only Satan and his followers (ie devils and people who utterly reject everything that God has to offer) will be compeltely cast out of this system.

We are in the eternal. The force [God] is so power-full it emanates itself out from itself, or seems to. What we have is an eternal play, where God plays with itself. [pun intended] Of course the other game God plays, hide-n-seek must be played first. ~ : )
