i have dry skin jus above my eyelids, between that and my eyebrow's. its jus came up over past two days, i haven used anything different on my face make up wise but i have jus started to use a new exfoliater to scrub the dead skin that be's on my nose after wearing make up. its a johnsons one, could it be the problem? im not sure as the rest of my face is fine, this is the only area affected.
iv since stopped using it and iv been piling on the moisturiser but it isnt helpin either, the skin is still just flaking off .

It could be the new product, maybe your skin is a little sensitive and your scrubbing to hard (you shouldn't be using an exfoliator around your eyes). There isn't any point in putting cream on already dead flacky skin because your trying to fight the simpton not the problem. Ask yourself these questions...
Have you had more stress lately?
Has your diet changed?
Washing powder?
Do you have allergies?
It can happen for many reasons, with the weather change or excess air conditioning. If it doesn't get better soon go and have a facial and ask the Beauticians advice, or doctor if it gets worse!

Cleanse tone and moisturise 2 x a day every day with products for dry skin, use a dry skin face mask 2 x a week, use a face scrub 1 - 2 x a week. Also use a face wash 2 x a day. The procedure if your using all products is: Face wash, cleanse, scrub, mask (leave for 10-15 minutes), tone then moisturise. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day as well. If you can afford it visit your local beauty salon for a full facial. They'll prob use a gel mask with cucumber extract. Hope this helps

Stop using the exfoliater which could cause the irritation on your skin. Clean your face with the mildest face soap you can find (the milky one or Aveeno product) and put on deep moisturize face cream afterward. Also, put more face cream on that area before you go to bed.

I had a very similar problem with the skin on my face but what really helped is taking high doses of omega 3 capsules and trying to get omega 3 naturally in my diet. The dryness went away and my skin was alot clearer and more supple x

Its good you've stoped what caused the original irritation. You may have eyelid dermatitus and need a steroid cream from a doctor. I have it hence no eye make up when it flares and I use Neova eye cream

And it clears mine up. Good luck

Imperialis face moisturiser from Lush, it's made entirely of natural ingredients and it fizes bad skin up in a few days.
Mine was in bits before I used that and now I do and it's much much better.
It's like five quid.
