if you put the colors platinum and silver could you tell the difference between them?
my gown has a lot of silver in it and i wanted them to match me with silver dresses but the dresses that i just absolutly would love on them comes in platinum not silver.what should i do?

dont worry about matching your dress to theirs!!! Get the platinum dresses! And i thought platinum was another word for silver?

Is your wedding day or night? Either way, platinum is a warm silver and will go fine with your dress depending on the type of silver. If its in the bead work and accents, it will be gorgeous. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure what a platinum color dress looks like, but I wouldn't worry too much about how well it mathes your dress. My dress has a lot of silver accents in it but my girls dresses are antique gold. I think any color you go with will be fine.

Depending on the companies that make the dresses they will either match or at least compliment each other. Ask the shop that sells the bridesmaids dresses for a sample swatch or see if they have anything platinum in stock and compare it to your dress.

ask for a swatch of the platinum colored fabric and then compare it to the silver. i doubt you can see a difference and if you do keep in mind that no one will ever look as closely and nit pick at everything like a bride will so the chances of anyone noticing a shade or two of difference is slim!

I think that silver and platinum are SOOO similar in color that no one will be able to tell. It'll be fine, no worries!

platinum is kind like a gold so not really on my wedding dress was silver and gold so i think that is pretty.

I do not think that they will be an exact match, but they will compliment one another very well. Go for the platinum!
