I am planing on getting some gizzards and putting some hot sauce on them and let them sit in the sun and use them for bait. Anyone else try this before?

No..but wouldn't think that hot sauce would work..but not sure..guess it depends on what you are fishing for. I know that trout like garlic and that if you spray hair spray or put glittery fingernail polish on your bait..you will cat chem' like crazy...sound just like girl don't I? Even though...I can out fish most of em'!! Watched a couple of guys use no bait at all one day..only sprayed hair spray on an empty hook..they caught fish all damn day long!!

Leave the hot sauce for the scrambled eggs and tacos ;). Go strictly gizzards. Ain't never heard of the hot sauce method, but one never knows...

The hot sauce will not help, stick with just the gizzards and you will do better.

you won't choose to go away the bait out. there's a shrink to how long or how plenty you are able to enable hen liver rot. it incredibly works superb devoid of any sort of rotting. you will not catch any bass or crappie on hen liver, merely catfish. it incredibly is advisable to objective stink bait for catfish, it is so plenty extra handy than hen livers. Get some sponge hooks and any sort of stink bait. Catfish Charlie blood dip bait and Hog Wild #6 sponge hooks have labored properly for me.

No I have not but a good bait idea is hot dogs or you can use sun fish. I have tried this and I have caught some big big big fish. Also I have use minoes and slices of big fat sucker.

Depends upon the part of the country you're in I guess. In San Antonio, if it doesn't have salsa, nothing will eat it. Don't get that stuff in the bottle though - it's gotta have real garlic and onions.
