See this artilce, it may help you
1. Insert a blank writable CD into the CD recorder.
2. Double-click My Computer, and then click the files or folders that you want to copy to the CD. To select more than one file, hold down the CTRL key while you click the files you want.
3. Click any of the following options:• Copy this file
• Copy this folder
• Copy the selected items
4. In the Copy Items dialog box, click the CD recording drive, and then click Copy.
5. In My Computer, double-click the CD recording drive.
Windows displays a temporary area where the files are held before they are copied to the CD. Check that the files and folders that you intend to copy to the CD are displayed under Files Ready to Be Written to the CD.
6. Under CD Writing Tasks, click Write to CD.
7. After the CD Writing Wizard starts, follow the instructions in the wizard. 8. When the process is finished, the wizard displays a check box for you to choose to create another CD like the one you just made. If you want to create multiple copies of the same CD, click Yes, write these files to another CD and insert another blank, writable CD into the CD recorder. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
NOTE: After you copy files or folders to the CD, it is useful to view the CD to confirm that the files are copied.

It is extremely to copy to a CD. Right click on the document icon and select "send to DVD/CD-RW Drive". Do this with all of the documents. Now go to "My Computer" and open the DVD/CD-RW Drive. You will see the files waiting to be written. Select the first item in the list in the left pane and follow instructions.
There are other ways of doing the same thing. You can insert a blank disk and a window to the DVD/CD-RW Drive may open. You can then drag the files to this window.
After copying the first file to the DVD/CD-RW Drive a balloon may appear that will take you directly to the drive bypassing "My Computer".
You will find that there are at least 3 ways to do anything on the computer.

Hi,
U need a CD / DVD Writer to copy to blank CD's.
Get them it comes with a CD Wrtite software, what ever documents, excel files and other non video and song files u burn it as "Data CD". you can burn Video files and Mp3 as "Data Cd" but they work only in ur computer not with ur DVD or Mp3 players at home.
If is just a word document get a flash drive and copy to it. See here for more details. U will get this product in any stationery or computer shop.

Nothing. Put a blank CD in the drive. You may be asked to "do somethign" with the CD--if so, open it using Explorer. Then drag the file (or set of files) to the CD. Once you have all the files you want "on" the CD, there is an option on the left to "burn the files to CD". The system will then take you through the steps to do that.

Take a blank cd (buy one if you need) put it in your cd burner(buy one if you need) and then go to my computer, then to your cd drive. Drag - or copy and paste the Document to that folder and you will see "burn these" appear in the upper right corner, click it.
