Don't ask...I am a psychology major...this is not a religious issue though you tried to make it one so I will tell you...little of it goes on in the R&S section because all sides are too busy putting each other down.

I think critical thinking is much simpler than that. It's the ability to apply perspective, to look at something at an angle other than the one presented.

For example, a critical thinker understands that there are assumptions that underlie the posited statement or idea, and that the statement is only valid if those assumptions are.
