Years ago I had gel nails put on for about a year. Then my finger tips starting itching terribly and the skin around my finger tips starting shedding off, so I had to stop getting the gel nails. Recently I started having acryllics applied. After 6 months, I"ve started to have the same reaction. I really want to keep getting my nails done. Does anyone have any idea what I can do? I thought of going to fiberglass, but I'd prefer to find a way to be able to continue to get acryllics.

Why not give solar nails a try? They are like acrylic but made from a different product. Also, if you get french nails all the time, the white never chips off! I love them! I switched to solar nails in January and have never regretted it. Since they are not acrylic,. you might not have a problem with them.
